Peace and relaxation!!!

I have nothing but great things to say about the stay at the Beachcomber. Onsite staff Johnny was so helpful and accommodating. the location was perfect we were able to walk all around town and not worry about parking at all. the room was a perfect size and very clean!!

i have zero complaints!! this is a smaller size family motel and is shows it was very relaxed and calm.

Johnny was very friendly and helpful at checkin. The room was very comfortable with a ceiling fan and an extra fan at the window, comfortable bed, sheets and a nice bathroom. We'll be back for sure!

Cute, Quaint, Very Clean, great location, and Excellent service!

My self and two friends were attending a retreat in Arroyo Grande and decided to stay at the Beachcomber Inn based on location and reviews. The Inn was small, quaint, older building, but beautifully remodeled, and VERY clean. I drove my F-150, so parking was a bit difficult, but Johnny, the innkeeper, was amazing! He helped with parking, giving us options. He was attentive, bringing us a fan before we asked, and made sure we were aware of all of the amenities in the room. This was the cleanest hotel room I've been in in a very long time and the bathroom and kitchenette were well appointed. The location is great, just a block from the beach and great restaurants. We do with it had a hot tub, maybe a pool, but for our purposes and the personal, friendly services was much more appreciated. We will definitely stay at the Beachcomber again!

Beautiful room, loved it!

Small boutique hotel with a well appointed pretty room. All rooms are upstairs, so nobody above or below you. Parking is free. You won’t need a car as it’s located downtown; steps to the beach, restaurants, shopping, ect. Manager is onsite and really helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

It’s in a prime location, so it can be noisy at night.

Perfect Place to Stay…

Loved Everything about this property. Very close proximity to the famous Pismo Beach sign, the Pier, the beach itself, Splash Cafe, Brad’s, Cool Cats Cafe, Harry’s, etc. 5 min stroll to all of these places! The hotel was very clean and the furniture was super comfy. The onsite manager Johnny made us feel right at home, he was very polite, friendly, and professional. The hotel had all the basic necessities you’ll need for an overnight or weekend stay. All the personal touches of the hotel coupled with the friendly, knowledgeable staff made this trip a 10/10!

The property was very clean and comfortable. Additionally, the gentleman that was overseeing the property was very pleasant and helpful, he does a fantastic job at keeping the property pristine.

Although there was enough parking spaces for the guests, the parking lot was a little tight, but manageable to navigate.

My family has a very relaxing stay and the Inn made that happen

The inn is less than a block from the main Pismo Beach sign and the beach. Across the street, there are many eateries, including Hoagies, Fish N Chips, Brewery, and bike rental stores. The inn has only 8 rooms, so getting in and out is very easy. Your vehicle parking is below the rooms. The room has a lovely automatic fireplace, microwave, fridge, and filtered reverse osmosis water, so you don't need bottled water for all your needs. Johnny, the inn's host, was very kind and helpful. He provided us with some towels for the beach, always asked if we needed anything, and even provided traffic control while we came out of the driveway.

I suggest the inn's owner add a mirror by the driveway so drivers can see the pedestrians walking along the exit.

Great stay, can’t wait to go back.

The room was well appointed with anything you could need for your stay. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable. The location was walking distance to most anywhere you would want to go. The Inn Keeper was wonderful and went out of his way to make sure the guests were well taken care of. We will definitely return.

The only negative was the parking. It’s a small little boutique hotel with parking slots for each guest however it is a little tight for larger vehicles. This can be overlooked because everything else about the stay was perfect

A renovated Motel 6 that overlooks a dirt parking lot. The location is great in downtown Pismo and the rooms are updated and clean. I would much rather stay next door at the Inn At The Pier with ocean views. The Beachcomber shoud be half the price of the Inn At The Pier for what you get.

Excellent location. Hotel was clean and well equipped. Check in and out was very easy. We loved the extras and supplies in the room, including a bowl on chocolates.

I did like was the location to the beach. This hotel is very overpriced 800 for two nights , I expected a little more comfort.

Super beach location

Very close to the beach, spacious room and lots of things like paper plates and forks, fridge and microwave. Parking was very convenient too. The host was very kind and welcoming.

Grace was amazing! Treated us like family. From the bowl of chocolate, extra coffee pods, and asking my kids about their day, she went above and beyond. Another shout out, I lost my purse and when the founder called the office, she took it upon herself to gather as many thank you bags, notebooks, etc. to offer as a thanks for the safe return.

The room came with coffee pods, paper plates, plastic utensils and paper cups. It did not lack for anything in the kitchen, including filtered water. Grace, the lady in charge was so sweet and although we didn't need anything, I am sure if there was a problem, she would fix it for you.

The rooms are all upstairs so if you have a problem getting up and down stairs this is not the place for you. The only other issue was this was New Year's Eve when we stayed, and some parents apparently left their preteens or young teens alone in the room next to us and they were pretty rowdy but not so bad that we needed to complain. Also, the walls are kind of thin cause you could hear people talking in room next to us but once again, not so bad to complain.
