The location was excellent. Just 2 blocks from beach access. There is viewing area located on the bluff. There is cold and hot water dispenser next to the ice machine.

The heating/air conditioning unit was so loud that it was disturbing our sleep. Minor problem with the sink stopper not staying open. And the refrigerator was not very cold. I had cold pack that needed to refreeze for the road.

LOUD laundry room at the corner of the hotel and our room was right next to it. Hotel is next to Highway 101 and you could hear the cars. Updated finishes were sloppily done. Expensive on weekends given cons

Location was perfect!

Lobby hours we didn’t get to the property til 8pm. We got phone call saying the lobby closes at 830pm. Instead of getting dinner we had to go register first so we can accommodate the staff that was there.

Great view of the ocean and location from the pier. Everything was clean, updated and modern. Pictures online were exactly what we got.

The location was amazing. It was a short walk down to the beach, which was beautiful even at night. The room was cozy and we did have a small issue with upstairs guests making noise but otherwise it was all amazing.

Upstairs neighbors were a little loud, I would recommend trying to get a unit that doesn't have a unit above it. But the location more than made up for any noise. Everyone was nice and everything was clean.

Nostalgic bliss and pure joy.

We’ve grown up going to Pismo for almost 25 years now and this was our first time at this location. They did not disappoint and everything was magnificent.

The only bummer was not having a TV that allowed apps on it so we did have to buy a Roku stick to watch our shows. Easy fix and now we travel with it everywhere.

Beach Boho at its Best!

I enjoyed the modern, "beach boho" style of the rooms, and they were very clean and quite spacious. The beds were super comfortable. I liked the hotel's location: just close enough to downtown Pismo Beach to walk, but far enough to not feel like you're in the touristy area. Great wifi, gas fire pits for guests, and plenty of parking! Most of all, booking the hotel and checking in was easy! Much appreciated after a 6-hour drive to be able to get into my room quickly.

Since I was travelling for work, I would have appreciated a small desk in the room. And the first night I was in room 108, which shares the wall with the staff room and is close to the ice machine. I heard staff going in and out, and guests getting ice late into the evening. The worst part was the constant humming of the ice machine! Other than that, my stay was excellent!

Highway noise could be an issue for some, but we sleep with white noise so did not affect our sleep, just noisy while awake. However, our room was the closest one to the freeway.

Cottage was clean and well designed. Nice fixtures, new paint, spacious bedrooms. Nice kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Quiet, private, easy free parking and pet friendly. Beautiful ocean views. No noise from neighboring rooms or cottages.

Air conditioners in bedrooms are exceptionally loud. Weather was a little warmer than normal, so would have been nice to use the AC, but it was too loud for sleeping. But, it was nice to have individual cooling in each bedroom.

Made reservations 6 months in advance asking for a certain cottage. Didn’t get the one requested. Stated they don’t take reservations for certain cottages. I paid over $2000 for 5 nights and didn’t get the 1 I wanted. Staff never checked in with us the whole time to see if we needed anything. (Garage bags, coffee pods, towels, etc.)

It wasn’t worth the price to me because of the lack of concern til after I checked out with the issue with my dog

Balcony is pretty nice view the toilet in the bathroom was not very good. It didn’t work very good. Wouldn’t flush until the 2nd or 3rd time every time And also some of the other people that were staying there with dogs didn’t have their dogs on a leash one of the times another guest dog ran up on my leashes dog and the person staying there didn’t come to get there dog til after the 3rd time it ran out at my dog I sent the property a message about while I was still there and I didn’t get a response til I after verbally told them over the phone call I had after checkout Also one of the male front desk staff members some guy that was completely rude to me was one of my not great things about this property and the air conditioner is on a timer that I couldn’t turn off and it randomly shut off every 30 minutes in room 210 and the fridge was very loud and the bed wasn’t that comfortable But the girl at the front desk who helped me at check in was awesome and the manager I had to speak with after I had to deal with the rude guy working the front desk on the phone was really helpful because she helped me resolve the issue I was having it because I wasn’t having an easy time dealing with that guy working in the front desk that time, but the manager resolved my problem quickly and effectively and was efficient so I can’t say anything bad about the two girls that I dealt with working customer service there

The decor is a throwback, which I loved. It felt like stepping back into the 60's. The Moroccon restaurant within walking distance was AMAZING!

I thought I could walk to the beach within a reasonable distance. It's on a cliff. You would have to walk into town. I didn't have enough time. The desk was not 24 hour, but the place next door was very helpful.
