Genuinely the worst customer experience we've ever had at a hotel. We were returning from the airport and called for the shuttle and when asked where pickup would be because we are unfamiliar with the airport, all we kept getting from Nikki at the desk was "it will pick you up where it dropped you off." We were dropped off 11 days ago and this is a new airport to us, so we had no idea where we were going. We called 4 times (one of the times we were hung up on) and still got absolutely no help from her. We figured it out after an hour. And luckily the shuttle driver was great (we didn't catch his name, but he does the shuttles during the night). They didn't have 2 double beds when we got there, so we got a king room instead l. Got into the room & there was a gross stain on the bed sheet. When we asked if the sheet could be changed, she said she would give us the sheet to change ourselves. At this point its 1:30am and has been traveling for 14 hours & asked if someone could change it for us. Nikki, rudely, said that's not an option then said "well, I could let you switch rooms if you would just ask." We opt to get a new room, even though we just wanted to leave to a new hotel at this point. The floors in the room were absolutely disgusting. We made the mistake of taking our socks off and our feet (and shoes) stuck to the floors. We got in, slept, and got out as fast as we could.

First off we had to pay a extra $100 cash deposit that we wasn’t aware of, less than 10 mins in my room I decide to take a hot bath, I started the water and stepped one foot in the tub and my foot slid right from under me causing me to fall hard into the tub right on my right buttock, I tried to write a incident report cause the tub didn’t have any slip stripes ( I was not aware ) no one cared that this happened to me, there was no manager on duty and the person there had no idea what to do, she stated she didn’t know the managers name, and it was the weekend and it was nothing she could do, eventually after asking twice she gave me a email to the manager, she never contacted me, this happened on Friday I left on Sunday morning and no one contacted me or even cared how I was doing, the room was ok, the bed and pillows was the best part of the stay, the water gets really hot, the ac really cold, the restroom knob was about to fall off, and the walls are paper thin. I had a terrible stay and it all started when I fell in that tub 10 mins in the room and had to ice my butt my whole stay!! 2/10 I do not recommend!!!

Very dirty. Rude staff. One of staff attempted to get into my room 15 minutes after arrival! Without knocking! Lucky for staff member the hook prevented this idiot from entering and putting my life in danger! The end result would have horrific for them if they had made it inside my private room! Demanding CASH at check in is very odd!! Perhaps they have never heard of debit or credit cards!! The clerk stated if Cash not paid that I could stay elsewhere!! Very bad to spring this on someone that is tired and just wants to sleep! Also telling me that when I check out a 5am that I would have no problem getting my cash back! Sadly, when I checked out at 5am the clerk said the safe is locked and no cash available until 830am. How much cash is in that safe overnight!! Pure stupidity!! I asked what happens if paying customers can’t come back! The clerk said after 7 days money belongs to them! Very shady way of getting a CASH bonus! If this represents travel lodge standards?? I will take the clerks advice and never stay at another travel lodge again!! Definitely avoid any travel lodges in the future!!

Staff super friendly and helpful upon checkin. Also came down to our room bc TV said “no signal” and we couldn’t make it work. They fixed it. Hallway noise unbelievable. Noisy people in and out of rooms at all hours. The door slammed constantly across the hall bc the deadbolt was popped out for easy coming and going and also loud banging. Each time. No way the hotel could have predicted that. But common courtesy wasn’t a requirement for staying here. Sheesh. Beds fine. Area clean enough. But the big gross part was the tub didn’t drain. Ew. And we didn’t discover it until we went to use it at 4:30 am before our 5:30 am shuttle. Total grossness. We tried and tried and tried to get the tub train plug out to no avail. Also we would love to have breakfast open at 5 am. Instead we had to drop $20 on airport breakfast sandwiches.

My account was charged twice for 1 room. Only 3 small pillows on king size bed. Furniture used and badly beaten up. No cups in room.

Was never told that I had to make a $100 deposit anywhere on the booking. Tried to give my card and the receptionist was rude and told me cash only. They said “I should know this since it’s Michigan policy,” must be a different Michigan. Mind you the room itself was $54 per night. The lights wouldn’t even turn on, it had a funny smell, you can’t even use the shuttle unless you’re definitely taking a flight at that time and you have to prove it. There’s no decent food anywhere nearby, they end breakfast so early and the food is trash, property looks dilapidated. The only kind and helpful person was the shuttle driver. DONT STAY HERE

I am 79 years old and this was my worst experience. I made a mistake and booked on the 22nd instead of the 21st. I booked a room and the clerk promised twice to call and delete my 22nd booking. She is did not and I got billed. A patron came in and asked to use the bathroom, the clerk refused her, although she said she was a guest who hadn't checked in yet. I asked if I could return my rental car and use the shuttle to come back, she said NO. The smoke alarm was making a chirping sound and had to be repaired. The heater was noisey and kept waking me up during the night. I wouldn't stay there again.

This was a good stay for the price. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. But if you're picky you may be unhappy. On the plus side, the staff was consistently polity and helpful. However, the room was somewhat chilly. When the heater was off there was a cold draft. I suspect the insulation around the AC unit was lacking. Turning the heater on got the room to a good temperature, but it was kind of noisy throughout the night. The blankets were kind of thin and I was chilly. We showed up for breakfast at 8:30. There was only enough waffle mix for two waffles, and the rest of the breakafast spread was very minimal. One of the staff members checked the waffle mix at 8:45, but didn't bother refilling it. Our key card stopped working and we had to go to the front desk to get it fixed. I noticed the same thing happen to another customer in the few minutes I spent in the lobby, so this must be a frequent occurrence. There were signs of general wear.

First off ... read the reviews before booking Because its a travel lodge and ive stsyed at travel lodge many times, i didn't This place is disgustingly dirty. As in we slept in our clothes, ontop of the bedding kinda dirty. It was non refundable at that point and we were too tired to battle. The staff are very friendly. The shuttle service is fantastic and we returned from holiday to my car still there, so bonus. I would NEVER book here again How easily we forget what being forced to shut down was like, and return to filth. The 5 star reviews on here have got to be bought.

I could feel all the springs in the bed, the outside light was blazing into the room and the curtains barely helped, the sink wouldnt drain, there were stains on the bed skirt, the walls are paper thin. Great shuttle service though!

Room was adequate and as expected (although all of bathroom fittings were damaged/old and the light fittings and TV did not work, plus the bed frame had very dangerous metal struts exposed that could skin your shins on). The biggest hassle was waiting for over an hour at the airport (outside in 29F temp) for the shuttle, and having to call 3 times.
