Easy check in. Very small room and bed (which admittedly I'd chosen) but for a taller than average person it made sleeping and showering difficult. Otherwise no issues. Clean, warm and surprisingly quiet given location and it being a Saturday night.

The guest house was OK, but not the cleanest. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Walking in, the place had an unpleasant smell. Probably because someone was drying out their laundry on the radiator in the hallway. Not something that a hotel should permit! The bed had no fitted sheet, just a flat sheet over the mattress cover and a duvet. I hope the duvet covers get washed between guests... The staff were good and the breakfast was good for the price.

Parking was great, room was comfortable and spacious for three adults. Huge bathtub and shower in private ensuite. Hosts were fantastic, helpful and friendly. Excellent cooked breakfast for a modest 8GBP. Very close to town and in a very pretty area.

We arrived and no one was there to welcome us. We hit every button we could find but no one responded. We were there before 8 pm. We waited around for about 15 minutes then left and found another place down the road.

Would love to have had a luggage stand so that I could easily access my bag instead of having to put it on the floor or on the bed. The spot is close to downtown Stirling and about a 20 minute walk to Stirling Castle and does offer parking making it a great spot to stay if you want access to those things and not to have to worry about driving to those things. There’s a couple of great coffee shops, breakfast options and as well it looks like a couple of great pubs, with a short walk from the bed and breakfast. My biggest frustration was with the shower when the water pressure is pretty low in about two minutes and you lose your hot water so you go from warm or hot water to freezing cold and then you have to allow the unit to warm back up again. The other thing is, there’s absolutely nowhere to place your toiletries in the area of the shower. So you just have to set them on the floor. A little shelf in the shower would be very useful!

The bed was like sleeping on a board it was so hard. The walls were thin and the hotel, particularly staff was noisy. Staff made lots of noise, played music through a speaker, and talked loudly while working. Both room and bathroom were not particularly clean and the shower did not work. It was over priced for the condition it was in.
