We had a very comfortable one night stay. Great location; we left our car in the car park and explored Stirling on foot fuelled by a superb breakfast. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. The Allan Park has a lovely atmosphere

Check-In Staff were excellent along with ALL staff encountered through our stay. Hotel was spotless. Dinner and breakfast were equally as great. Room was HUGE and again spotlessly clean. No faults.

The location, staff and food were great
On the surface, the room looks clean.
The rooms were actually very dirty!!
We were on the ground floor and there was a sewer smell coming up from the shower drain.
There is a thick dust layer on all the baseboards as well as behind the toilet and mold in the shower.
The shower fixture is broken.
There are air fresheners throughout the room and on the ground floor.
Our room had a dehumidifier which was full of water.
I wouldn’t recommend the bottom floor because of these things.
After cleaning our room, our pajamas were on the floor beside the bed.
They were on our pillow when we left the room.

I sent them this message with no reply:
Good morning- we just wanted to let you know some things about our stay. The first night we didn’t get any sleep - we thought the mattress was just bad but upon inspection we found that the mattress was upside down with the pillowtop down and the springs up. We let the girl know in the morning and asked that they turn the mattress over the right way. (They did). Our first morning the chef didn’t show up so we had cereal for breakfast. The bathroom slants really bad especially by the toilet. We are wondering if there will be any compensation to our booking fees?? Thanks
