Castle Walk Bed & Breakfast

Situated in the town centre this B&B is at a really unique location. Everything in town is easily approachable. My cosy room was on the upper floor and had a lovely view. The bed was comfortable and everything was as it should be. The breakfast was really good! They were very mindful as they learned about my dietry restrictions - so do ask, if you need something special! I do not take that for granted so thank you very much! If you like to sleep with an open window, be aware that especially on weekends when the weather ist good there can be noise from the pub next door. I did not mind, because it was neither too late nor too loud, but if you are a light sleeper or like to go to bed early you might want to use earplugs or close the window!

Perfect location in the city centre. Lovely staff and breakfast.

The spaces are a bit cramped, but the building is old, so you can’t really expect much more.

Great location, room was nice, comfortable and clean with a great view on the street. Breakfasts were ok, you could choose a hot option (toasts and egg) and coffee or tea. Hosts are friendly. In the room you could find a hairdryer, a kettle with tea set etc.

When you flush the toilet you make a huge noise which can be a bit irritating, especially at night.

The location was excellent. The beds comfortable.

Tiny double room was difficult to navigate. Top floor location with steep stairs. Shower was a trickle of warm water. I was lead to believe, through booking.com, that breakfast was included. Far from it, charges for food were exorbitant.
