We stayed here for a 1 night work stay. The room was large and clean, nice newly refurbed bathroom with a great shower. A large comfy bed and had everything needed for a good 1 night stay. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food at dinner and the buffet breakfast was very good. Really nice setting just next door to the Battle of Bannockburn visitor centre and park.
The only gripe would be the dining room was quite chilly and the towels in the room were a bit on the small side. We would definitely return.

All the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Really good breakfast and evening meal. Although our wee dog was not allowed in the restaurant the staff made up a table for us in the bar. The hotel and staff were very dog friendly.
There was nothing we could complain about.

We loved it here - the family room is large and gives everyone a bit of space! The dinner and breakfast were fantastic and the team at the hotel were friendly!
We had no issues and loved the property!

The bed was large and comfortable and the room was lovely and warm. The shower was very good.
We also attended a funeral here and the staff were friendly
It was very basic. The bar and restaurant area was not inviting.
We were locked out of the hotel at 9.30pm and had to knock on the door to get in, there was no apology. We don’t feel important as guests.
We stayed for two nights and there was no housekeeping at all in the room

I loved how spacious it was,and the view outside 😍 most importantly the roon was so warm.
The toilet was a bit different to flush and there was noise seemed like a plumbing noise it was persistent from 10pm till 3am in the morning so I was unable to get much sleep

Well located next to big park and museum, great if travelling with dogs.
The heating wasn’t switched on until 18:00, we were a bit cold in the room until then.

The room was clean and warm and my two children had a bed each - no sharing a sofa bed!
Breakfast was great with a good selection of hot food, including fried eggs and haggis.
I was delighted with the location right next to the Bannockburn battlefield that is free to visit with the statue of King Robert The Bruce.
We arrived after hours having let the hotel know in advance we would get there around 11pm, and also checked with the hotel that it would be okay to arrive after 10pm being assured that reception is manned 24 hours a day; it isn't. There is a telephone number to ring left on a note on the door, but no one answered. Fortunately, banging really loudly on the door alerted the night porter to our presence, but we were quite tired and cold at that point and had two small kids in tow, so I do wonder would have happened if no one had heard us.
Also, be prepared to put together your own fold-out bed and find a space for it in your room - something I felt the hotel could have done for us in advance and something I have never had to do myself before as a guest!

It’s very close to green space and Bannockburnwhich is a real treat
It was way way way too stuffy and warm in the first floor room I had . The fan provided was both noisy and inadequate and the window barely opened, impossible to have door open but even if that were the corridor heat equally poor. Just allowing for air circulation would really help comfort even if the weather is warm (but it was 22/23 degrees Celsius daytime, 15-17 night).

This hotel is well-located for travel through Stirling. It is not centrally located, and ideally you will need a car to make this stay workable. Parking is free and easy to access.
Overall, this place was ok for a single night's accommodation. I would rate the room comfort as average, and the overall quality as middling.

The room was nice and clean inside and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was lots of car parks too.
The outside of the hotel is very dated and unattractive, and does not reflect the inside or the friendly staff.

The breakfast was lovely hot with plenty of choice, the reception and dining room was lovely to walk into and we were greeted with very friendly staff members. The bed was comfy.
started with the smell. the toilet seat was stained (looked like very old ingrained staining) and smelt very strongly like a old urinal when opening the door of the bathroom, made you feel unclean in the bathroom. There was a cord to the lamp which had previoulsy been taped up but tape was coming away and gave you a tingle when switching light on. Yes, we did mention this in the morning and receptionist said we should have said they would have moved us. Unfortunatly we were only in Sterling for one night and we had dropped our bags and went into town coming back late tired after a long drive and didnt realise how bad it was but as late just went to sleep. This is really shame to leave this review as the rest of the hotel was lovely.

Excellent location, adjacent to Bannockburn battlefield so opportunity to go for a walk, but short drive into Stirling centre and easy access from the M9. As my room faced the field, it was nice and quiet.
It was very hot, despite having the window open all night and using the fan that was provided. I wasn’t expecting there to be entertainment in the evening. Luckily I had almost finished my meal before it started and I couldn’t hear it from my room.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were so lovely. As a solo female traveller for work it’s so nice to feel like you are being looked after and the staff here did exactly that. So warm and friendly.
The room and bathroom were small, if I was with someone else I think it might have been a bit too small but ok for just me.

How quiet and peaceful my room was.
Probably not enough parking (although to be fair, there was a function on when I arrived) - had to park out on the road and then managed to move my car into the proper car park a little later.
