Fletchers is a lovely place to stay,very clean and all you need plus extra in your room,staff are very good,food excellent and breakfast is probably one of the best ever.This staynwas excellent value for money and is in a great location.

Directions easy to follow to destination. Spent 2 nights there visiting family

Location very good, a bonus it has its own car park. Good choice of b’fast. Room lovely and big and walk in shower + bath. Light above sink needed repairing as you couldn’t switch it on which made the bathroom dark! Nowhere to hang wet bath towels, hooks would have been helpful or a double towel rail. Otherwise good .

Bed too small for 2 tall people could have done with a Super Kingsize for the size of the room! Only has single glazed windows which were running with condensation each morning. Could have done with a Karcher to collect the water or something to dry them.

Staff were very friendly. Hotel was very central and exceeded our expectations. As its a pub and we didn't do any research, I expected it to be run of the mill, to meet the minimal criteria for a room purelt based on "within a pub" and the price. It was more than adequate, beautifully furnished, clean, comfortable, friendly atmosphere, staff couldn't do enough for you, and had a mini bar with prices. Breakfast was cooked ir continental and amazing. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Good value for money

When arriving in the room there was a foul smell from the bathroom.. which I thought was perhaps just coming from the toilet .. but unfortunately it stayed the whole time of our visit . The room was fine .. a bit tired looking.

One night stay in December

Location for our purpose was excellent with free parking and easy access. Check in was in the bar bar the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was very nice.

with reception being in the busy bar and restaurant the staff member had to keep us waiting to check in while she had people paying for their meals. Although breakfast was nice, toast was served alongside cooked breakfast on the same plate, which meant it got soggy. There was no side plate and no preserves.

Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Warm. Good food in the restaurant. Very well located for walking round the city. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient.

The background music in the restaurant was a bit too loud and also quite miserable at times. I know. Just my opinion.

I enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast was fine. The sirloin was perfectly cooked. The bed was perfectly comfy. Although there was a busy road right outside the noise of it was well insulated. Staff were always pleasant and helpful.

I really disliked the constant sound of running water in my bedroom (3). It was particularly disturbing at nights

Good location and very convenient to had onsite parking

We enjoyed the breakfast. Best bacon we have had in Scotland. The young lady serving breakfast was extremely helpful and did a great job

A good, centrally located hotel with an excellent restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly, and the breakfast was very good and plentiful. We would gladly return. Thank you very much.

The only real disadvantage was that the bathroom in the room we lived in always smelled a bit of frying oil because of the exhaust system.

Loved the location, but would probably stay elsewhere if we were to visit again.

The property is located close to the train and bus station as well as Stirling Castle and other historical locations. The staff was lovely and did everything they could to make us welcome. Very friendly!

The rooms are a bit rundown. The restaurant has won several awards, but we thought the food was bland and tasteless. Breakfast was meager.

Perfect location, easy access, staff friendly and professional. Food was well presented and tasty. Breakfast exceptional, lovely overnight stay.

Walls could do with a coat of paint especially on the stair wells. Bed was too hard, but thats my individual preference, and not something you would complain about, but on saying this i had a lovely time.

Easy to park and in a great location, as we wanted to stay one night there and drive up to the Highlands in the morning. The food, both breakfast and dinner was excellent.

Fine for an overnight stay in Stirling

Really friendly, helpful and efficient staff and a good sized room with decent facilities and a large bathroom. Easy to park the car (a mid-size SUV with roof box) - just carefully follow the directions provided by Fletcher's in advance! Well stocked main bar in the dining area; very nice for evening drinks. Nicely cooked, tasty breakfasts prepared to order. Can't comment on the food served at other times as this was a flying visit en route to home.

The whole place feels quite tired and in need of some general maintenance and decorating. The stairwell, in particular, gives a poor first impression. The location is ok but not ideal for the old town/castle area and is on a busy roundabout. Our cooked breakfasts were tasty but a little disappointing not to have the usual extras also available (ie no fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast & jams, etc). Overall, our room package felt a little overpriced but I appreciate that this is a family business and they probably really struggle to be competitive with the chains.

Very comfortable room in a great location and the staff were super friendly. We enjoyed a good scottish breakfast before setting off on our travels.
