Central location, definitely the best bar and hotel in Stirling. Traditional looking, beautifully lit on an evening. Public parts are all beautiful and stylish. Bar is gorgeous and staff extremely friendly. Games on each bar table, great selection of drinks although didn’t do cocktails. Breakfast cooked to order, although pretty small, it was hot and delicious. Beds clean and comfortable.
Hotel rooms decor and bathrooms a little dated, curtains didn’t close properly and were held on very few hooks. Pretty noisy overnight with banging doors in corridor - could do with addressing that (soft close doors maybe). Overlooked a scruffy, rubbish strewn car park at the back, although having its own car park is a great bonus.

Good location
A little run down in need of an upgrade. describing breakfast as continental is a stretch as there is cheap bread for toast, prepackaged pancakes and crepes and a limited selection of fruit. At £150 per night bed and breakfast I would have expected more.
