The place is 750 metres from the train station and only a couple of hundred metres from downtown. My room was clean and comfortable. There were two choices for breakfast: a full Scottish breakfast or a smaller continental. The street it is on is very quiet.

The hotel was in a great location in the centre of Stirling. It was good value for money.
We encountered a few members of staff, who gave the impression that we were an annoyance, rather than a paying customer, on arrival and at breakfast. They weren't very hospitable.
The room - the toilet seat was cracked and needed tightening, I slipped while sitting on the toilet.
We never got a good sleep due to the noise from the room next to us - admittedly this was no fault of the hotel staff - the TV was loud till after 12am and the gent snored very loudly.
If we were to return to Stirling. We would definitely stay here again.

New shower curtain. Comfy bed. Clean room
Not enough staff. Reception unmanned for a while. Then a lady who was obviously busy changing rooms over with hands full of laundry appeared and once the laundry was disposed of she came to reception. She was pleasant enough but was also the cook the next morning. It looked like she did everything. Breakfast room basically. Tables and chairs, nothing else.
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean escept for mold in the silicone around the bath. .I appreciated the new shower curtains.
Will I be going back? No
