Gorgeous gem of a hotel, set with view of Stirling Castle.

Beautiful Victorian style house located in a lovely neighborhood in Stirling. 10 minute walk to the shops and sights including Stirling Castle, Church of the Holy Rude, and the Old Town Jail. There is a small parking lot behind the property and ample on-street parking (pay and display). Friendly, helpful staff. Walls in the room and bathroom could benefit from a little cleaning and freshening up, however. The shower in our room was very small. Overall, I would stay again, perhaps in a room with a larger shower.

The young woman who greeted us was friendly and kind. Later,we discovered that she was also a great judge of where to go and what to do in Scotland.
