Nice location, clean, 24 hr bar, nice power shower. Some staff happy to please.
Two staff members didn’t like dogs, allergic, yet it’s a dog friendly hotel and the dog was exceptionally good. , this happened in the bar area. The two young staff chatted behind the bar not worrying about the situation or the customers. We overheard the conversations, the female staff of the two brought her two friends into hotel to intimidate then left.

Everything was as excpected stayed here previously stall all very polite and courteous
The only thing i would say when we stayed there was a function each night is it not possible to put up a pop up bar in fuction suite in corner were staff can access the main bar to access draught beers and save the customers having to come through to main bar . please note this is not a fault hopefully constructive criticism

Parking
Apart from Michael at reception other staff weren’t friendly and inviting. Didn’t explain where lift was and when checking out didn’t ask how stay was, breakfast and coffee wasn’t warm

In lovely surroundings
It was tired, needs a few improvements. Noisy in corridors until 3.30am.

Easy to get to by bus from the train station and in the centre of the uni campus so some facilities around.
Comfy bed.
I was attending a course and the meals provided were plentiful and tasty with good snacks and hot drink selection provided.
The meeting rooms/public areas are really lovely.
The rooms and bathrooms are a bit tired, the bathroom ceiling light wasn't working and the TV was very crackly and fuzzy.

Hotel was lovely, was freezing cold weather but was really warm throughout. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming. Room was very nice and cosy with comfortable bed. Restaurant was very reasonably priced with delicious food.

Basic but served a purpose. Rooms are very dated. Restaurant/bar was lovely. Location ideal.
Shower kept falling off the bracket and flooding bathroom. Restaurant served fries with the burger but should have been triple cooked chips.

Love the location - inside Stirling University grounds which are beautiful. Very handy for MacRobert Arts Centre.
Room was a bit “tired” and on the small side for two people. Only one bedside cabinet and one chair …..
Cooked breakfast was cold and inedible. Thankful for cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts, croissants. Coffee was also cold.
No snack machine or facilities for supper/midnight snacks.

The breakfast served was superb. The dinner was also pleasant.
I did not like the fact that there was no
1. a small-sized fridge to take care of my food, drinks, yoghurts, and ice cream
2. small-sized microwave or kitchen
3. small-sized toothpaste and toothbrush
4. paid tv subscription to watch, e.g., the English Premier League
5. smart TV

Easy check in at a reasonable price.
Charged 25 pounds extra for a dog to stay, this is for a deep clean.
The room that we were given had the most stained carpet we have ever seen and shabby. This was in comparison with our other room next door that was spot on.
So as dog owner we pay extra for deep clean that doesn't happen and an inferior room with nothing extra for our dog.what exactly are we paying for ? Or is this just profiteering on the back of dog owners.

Easy to find, plenty parking, nice hotel and very clean. Rooms a good size. Food was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The main restaurant was closed for a function so were eating in a conference room which was a bit odd. Also the menu given in hotel was different to the one viewed online. No real kids menu although they did accommodate us.
Poor lighting in the room

The location was perfect, value was good the room was perfect vendor what we were looking for.
The staff at the bar during the evening were very stressed (I think there was a business conference going on) however we were told that several drinks were off the menu and the way we were told was quite abrupt and off putting so we ended up buying drinks to take to our room.
Also the fire alarm went off around 2 am and we were outside in the rain and weren’t given an explanation or apology when we got back in or checked out.
The stay was perfect for what we needed it for, just a few hiccups. It would just put us off spending time at the bar as we weren’t happy with the customer service only.

great for parking, with easy access into Stirling, Uni bus ,regular service , stops at the side of the hotel, good choice of breakfast, friendly staff, good value for money, comfy bed
It would be nice if they installed a handpump and had a local Scottish beer on handpump, not electric pump, or altenativly offered a choice of Scottish bottled real ales from local or across Scotland Stout,Porter,IPA,Bitter, golden, blonde and Thistley cross cider

Being a chef, i thought breakfast was maybe a little over cooked at times but couldn't fault the amount of hot items on display, especially the haggis. F.O.H staff were very good at service.
Maybe the room was a little bit tired but once again, the price of the room reflected that.

Perfect location, extremely comfy bed. Clean.

I liked the fact I could do a late check in and the 24 hour porter was there to assist. It felt like a safe venue and was clean and had a comfortable room and all the facilities. I did however have a lot of tv noise from room next door(rm 230) all night and in to early morning which was very disturbing. There were also no teabags in the room and the phone didn’t work to call reception.
As above
