Wonderful! a first experience in a bed and breakfast. It was delightful to have breakfast all together and have a chit chat about who is from where and so forth. The hotesses was very friendly. and the decor was like walking back in time. Lovely

We very much enjoyed “breakfast at 9:00 sharp” and the opportunity it gave us to talk to fellow travelers over a delicious meal. Our king room was immaculate, spacious, comfortable and quiet—I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy the large balcony. We were also very glad to find that the Wego bus line has a stop at the curb out front (it’s in fact called the “Bed and Breakfast stop”) and follows River Road to the area of the falls and related attractions. And lastly, we appreciated Robin’s flexibility with regard to our late arrival and her responsiveness in general. Thank you.

We usually booked rooms in hotels, this was our first Bed&Breakfast experience. Our stay was excellent, We felt like we were in a friends house. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly and processional. You can tell they love what they do. Thank you Robin for such great service. We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary at the Inn and it was absolutely wonderful. Robin the host makes you feel at home and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. We booked a room right when we left to bring our kids. I would highly recommend the Chestnut Inn to any friends or family.

My only disappointment was that the pool is shown in the photos but when we arrived we were told that the nice welcoming pool was not available to guests due to insurance. i would have easily signed a waiver as it was a terribly hot weekend and we had packed for swimming. if it had of mentioned that the pool was not available i would have booked elsewhere.

Common areas smelled highly of smoke. No shampoo or conditioner in bath and main light in bath didn’t work. Cold faucet was pulling out of sink. Bed was comfortable and nice and breakfast was pretty good but was served at 9 am.

10/10 stars, cannot recommend this B&B experience in Niagara highly enough. We will absolutely be back, we are singing their praises for the rest of our life - this was a magical stay at a once in a life time bed and breakfast. I cannot be more emphatic over how much we loved our stay. The house, our room, the people… it was everything that makes travel as amazing as it is. My wife and I stayed here for four nights in July. Robin and the entire staff were simply magnificent. The kindest, most generous and warming host and staff anyone could ever ask for. Truly appreciative of their service, we felt like we were coming home every night. The house/property is simply gorgeous. It is an old gorgeous house, with incredibly adorable and comfortable rooms. We had the Rose room. The cleanest at accommodations I’ve experience in years, even compared to high end hotels! The staff provided a communal homemade breakfast every morning for the guests, and the food was hearty and delicious, with a generous spread of pastries fruit and coffee. We will be thinking of this place often, and recommending it to anyone we know coming through the area. We cannot wait to get back!

The quaint Inn was approx. 1 mile from the falls - which was a nice walk. The breakfast was amazing and the room was very clean. The host was rather brief at check-in.

The first thing you smell when you walk in is an old smoke smell. The workers smoke there even though it’s a non smoking Inn. The main hostess was very grumpy and somewhat stern with all of the people staying there. She was very unprofessional. The bed in my room was a daybed. It was incredibly high. I have never seen one like it. I had to reach over and pull myself up with the bed frame to get in. My friend and I had to wait in the sitting area for two hours for a ride to the airport. She needed to use the restroom, and they refused to let her use a restroom. There isn’t a public restroom there, and they wouldn’t let her use theirs. They were very rude about it. The four of us agreed that we wouldn’t recommend or visit it again.

Homey and comfortable with easy parking and convenient to WeGo buses. Mattresses were very good and we slept well despite the proximity to the main Niagara Parks road. Robyn served excellent breakfasts that were a great start to our days. We would definitely recommend.

The property as a whole is definitely old and showing signs of that, could use some TLC. The first floor smelled like stale smoke but the upper floor did not. My room was big and the bed was very comfortable so I slept well. The bathroom was ok but clean. The breakfast was amazing they serve pancakes, eggs and sausage, also they had pastry’s and drinks. There is a room upstairs with a fridge and some drink so it was nice. Overall very good experience besides for a few thing I would change.

We had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful 3 day stay in October and can't wait to go back. The Chestnut Inn was a great and lucky discovery given all the confusing clutter of options in Niagara Falls and a perfect choice for us in comparison to any of our previous accommodations in the area over the years. It has an elegant, classic, cozy and relaxing atmosphere with well appointed rooms and a shared kitchen for guests right outside our door which was great. Particularly enjoyable was the unique extra bed in its own cozy space with its own arch window (where one of us fell asleep a couple of times!). The large cozy covered outside deck in our Classic Triple Queen room was an added bonus. The location is very desirable as it's away from the noise and congestion of Clifton Hill yet only a five minute WEGO ride from all the attractions. The bus stop is directly in front of the property. The Inn provides convenient ample parking spaces included in the cost. We were equally impressed with the awesome hot breakfast, as well as the friendly attentive service. Above all and most memorable was Robin, our host. She was incredibly kind, thoughtful and obliging, going out of her way to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The Chestnut Inn in now our favorite Niagara Falls destination. Thank you Robin

The highlight of this property was its proximity to Niagra Falls. It is on the road on the way to the botanical gardens and easily walkable down to the main falls. It is just across the road from the river. The property itself is quite tired. It has some interesting features but was not as comfortable as other places we stayed. I was glad to only need to stay here for 1 night. We stayed in July and so the hotel was really busy. The hosts were friendly but definitely on autopilot when it came to welcome and the breakfast chat. Overall, functional, fine and excellent location. Would not rush to stay again.

The hallways and lobby smelled strongly of cigarettes, which was odd because I think we were the only guests staying at the time and we don’t smoke. The bed was comfortable enough, I wish we had thicker blankets though because it got quite cold at night. They were super accommodating which was great, they let us check in earlier and store our luggage in the lobby after our check in time, so in terms of friendliness it gets a A I would still recommend if you’re looking for a quirky bnb that has lots of charm.

Everything was great. The bathtub was difficult since I have a hard time stepping over into the bathtub. But no complaints of the room. Where our room was, we had the whole place to ourselves, which made it very, very nice. The breakfast was good, but the helpings were scanty. They didn’t have anything for gluten-free for breakfast as far as toast or rolls. I would definitely stay there again. Loved that the location was not right in town but close to everything.

This was our family's very first time ever staying at a Bed & Breakfast, and they really set the bar. This place is so quaint! Just a short few minute drive to the Falls, minutes from shopping and tons of restaurants around. The staff there was VERY accommodating and very nice! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! I would absolutely recommend this place to any of my friends and family traveling to the Canada side of Niagra Falls.
