Staff where amazing, room was ok, a bit tired. Bathroom was old, tatty, cracked tiles, mould, broken bath panel and toilet not clean.

The hotel and staff were good, beds comfy and properly condition good I was however not impressed with the restaurant, I think there were only four main courses listed which just did not give enough choice I actually went out. Which is unusual.

The heating in our room did not work so we had to move radiators from the living room into the bedroom to try and stay warm. The room clearly looked a bit run down there was tape in places. It just wasn’t what we were expecting from a suite.

Good size room but breakfast was a let down. No variety, jams and chocolate spreads left opened , no single dispensers. Made the setup look unclean unfortunately. Displayed cheese didn't look fresh. I believe I can get a better breakfast in a cheaper hotel.

Room needs a bit more tlc. Outdated. Very disappointed with breakfast. Stayed there for 3 nights and decided not to bother with breakfast the last night. It wasn’t worth it. When we asked for hot chocolate they told us to help ourselves from the lobby. But it was so sweet wasn’t worth it. Terrible smell in the sauna and the steam room was not working. Not happy with my stay and would not stay there again.

At the time of booking I was not made aware of a £7.50 daily parking fee and that as you pay the fee at reception they then inform you they will be taking a £50 deposit off your card " just in case".

Our stay was excellent from start to finish. A nice welcome, a clean room and a comfortable bed. The breakfast had a wide range on offer. The staff were all very helpful.

Room was dated and tired. Set up for 2 people not 3, very disappointed!! Food was dreadful, I sent my fish and chips back twice it was cold, the fish was brown and the chips tasted odd, so I didn’t eat anything!! Service was very slow and poor, not a happy face in site. Overall a very unpleasant stay. I’m glad I only paid £44 for the room, definitely not worth £150

This hotel is going down hill fast. Poor attitude at check-in when arriving late in the evening. Internet speed was woeful. Multiple TV channels didn’t work Internet TV didn’t work. Reported all to reception and nothing was done. Last time I stay here.

Tip: Cover it before sleeping • No screen curtains for privacy of waist height window. From the bed, the room is overlooked by other rooms due to the L shape of the building Bathroom Pros • Clean • Bath is non-slip, not a mat, and has grab rail to make it easier to get in • Shower pressure is good • Shaver outlet • Complimentary refillable shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and body lotion Cons • Mirror not steam resistant Leisure Centre Closes at 10 on weekends and 9 on weekends. Pros • Hot spacious sauna - fits 8 • Hot full steam steam room - fits 10 • Lockers use a 4 digit combination code so coins are not required. However many lockers were locked open from where I assume people have tested how to lock them. • Heated sun loungers Cons • Towels are the size of a large hand towel. As I size 16 woman the width bearly covers the important parts and is not long enough for the towel to touch, let alone wrap around. Tip: bring your own towel • No jacuzzi Location Pros • 6 minute walk to Co-op • 15 min drive to shopping outlet or town centre • Parking is £7.50 per day. Tip: The parking notice boards show £15 for visitors

All the team were very helpful and welcoming. The bed was comfy and the room was nice and spacious, with all the expected amenities. I particularly enjoyed the restaurant, which had a range of vegetarian options. The only downside is that the heating in my room was on the blink, and so it did become very cold on my last night there. There are two disabled parking bays by reception for blue badge holders, but these were often already occupied, so a few more would help as the guest car park is a little bit of a walk if you have mobility issues. Overall I had a nice stay, and if my works takes me to the area again I would book again.

The hotel is looking very tired, bathroom was clean but badly in need of updating. Shower head didn’t work properly, bathroom door jammed when you closed it and was alarmingly difficult to open. We only stayed for one night, there was a discarded room service tray with dirty dishes and food scraps on the floor a few doors down from our room. It was there when we arrived and still there when we left.

Very noisy when in the room. A family were in the room above. You could hear them all talking and the kids running about after 11.30 pm. The internal bathroom door handle was wobbling and only held on by one screw (reported). The bathroom extractor fan didn’t work. The room heating system was very noisy when it came on throughout the night. The bed was very comfortable though. Overall, the hotel in gym and other communal areas are very nice. However the rooms are dated and tired and in a good need of a spruce up.

Nice spacious rooms but somewhat outdated, handle from chest of drawers just came off when I tried to opened. Nice staff but had to ask for towels as they gave us two bath towels only for 4 people. Nice breakfast with plenty choice. Shame about parking being charged even for guests with blue badge.
