    Had a room booked last night. I upgraded the guests staying and asked for a travel cot via the national IHG number, which was agreed over the phone. On arrival no travel cot was available or a family room. We had to sleep with our 3 year in the bed and as result a very bad nights sleep and missed breakfast which I paid extra for. Sadly as a result we overslept and it was promptly put away at 9:30am. I am very disappointed with our stay.

    Peaceful sleep and attentive staff. Slight mix up with pool being unavailable due to a class but children got a short swim in the morning. The pool is small and was busy in the evening. Turn off wasn't immediately obvious to me from dual carriageway that we had to do a loop back and unfortunately roads very busy at our arrival time. Ideal affordable stop over visiting friends in cotswolds

    I have stayed on holidays inn hotels before so had an expectation. Sadly this hotel stay did not meet my expectation. Nothing to do with the staff. The beds are very uncomfortable both the main bed and the sofa bed for the children, we couldn’t wait to get home to sleep in a comfortable bed. My kiddies will sleep any where but even they were complaining Breakfast time the staff were helpful and friendly but you needed more. People were having to ask for basics like glasses, cups and bowls during our breakfast. The hotel is looking a little tired, communal areas looking tired and dirty I wouldn’t have liked to have a small one in a high chair as the chairs in the breakfast room were dirty on the sides. The app said check in from 2pm so planned our travel time accordingly to arrive at 2pm to be told our room wasn’t going to be ready until 3pm.
