Pretty good

Good price, good breakfast. Close to the station and near restaurants/high street. Excellent Brazilian meat restaurant across the street.

Sign by reception basically says “Breakfast gets VERY busy at weekends so come early and please be nice to our staff as we try to serve everyone”. Which suggests if you go after nine-ish you will struggle to get a seat and you will be constantly waiting for buffet items to be refilled. How about Holiday Inn just make a breakfast room big enough, and have enough food? I went around eight because I was worried and it was fine but I would have preferred to eat later. Breakfast is good but could be improved with: hot milk option on coffee machine. They have packs of porridge you can take but no hot milk. Most decent coffee machines have this setting. Also you cannot stop the coffee machine once it starts! Also the pancake machine makes pancakes about 2.5 inches wide so press twice and get four.

Quality facilitated room.

Overall the facilities were very good, nice large TV with working remote control. The lighting was very good, good positioning. The bed was very large and comfortable, and room was well soundproofed so could not hear neighbouring room noise. The bathroom was very spacious, all very clean with a good working shower.

Location was good for us and price was reasonable.

The bathroom extractor fan wasn’t working and there was no plug in the bathroom sink, no view to speak of.

Staff was very helpful and professional But there’s nothing to like about the room I stayed Absolutely disappointed with the bed and the sofa bed And the room carpets were horrible smells! The sofa bed it’s disappointing Waste of my money and my time staying in the hotel.

The rooms are too small The carpets needs changing. I couldn’t sleep with my kids. We were coughing because of the carpet the air in the room Is not humid and the carpet was smelling no window no air. The side bed table light was flicking The rooms was so hot in the night They automatically change the room temperature downstairs in the reception even though you put a set time no point Sofa bed was horrible Even the normal bed was moving I had the most horrible sleep in two nights The place was clean.but the beds are different story.

Usually good but let down this time. Considering another hotel for next time

Ideal location for our event, breakfast included, which was adequate

Shower had a massive leak, causing us to have to move rooms shortly after settling in, which was a nuisance and put us late for our event. Wasn’t handled very well by the staff, who made us come down to rebook a room and move all our stuff ourselves. No real apology.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our place to stay when we visit Swindon again.

Breakfast was delicious. Room temperature was not great but we were given a heater and another duvet as per our request which was great. There was no parking at the hotel but there was a parking not far away which was good.

There was a dirty towel which had food on it which was folded and left in the room for guests to use. The room carpet seemed not very clean

The main bed was very comfy but the sofa bed was not so much. The breakfast let the stay down. Good choice but the food was cold & the hash browns & cobs were hard. The staff were brilliant and very attentive and polite

Pleasant, was very noisy at night due to location which obviously is out of the hotels control. Staff were attentive.

We had an issue with one of the rooms with the toilet leaking which was sorted by changing rooms, we then had an issue with another one of the rooms with the shower kept overflowing into the room as the drain wasn’t working

Location was central Affordable car park (£12) for 24 hours

Broken toilet flush

The toilet. The commode flush was broken and was very difficult to flush after use. It was my last time experience and I had informed the receptionist about this issue. This time again the same problem. We just stayed for a night and left to stay somewhere else. Did not bother to inform because, I thought if they did not take it into consideration my last time feedback, it won't have any effect this time. Such a disappointment. Not worth for the pay. Had to struggle to look for another place. I won't be going to this hotel again.

Excellent visit

Excellent room with plenty of storage space. Great bathroom with powerful shower and lovely Dove hand soap and shampoo. The buffet breakfast was great. Staff worked really hard to keep it well stocked.

We were in Swindon for a family funeral so not for enjoyment, the location and price was the main factor for staying at

Only one lift in operation during our stay despite being told there was two. Duvet was too small for the bed, Breakfast was generally good but only one egg option which was scrambled and tasted like powdered egg.

It's not worth it for the price paid

Location is the key! Just 7 minutes walking from the city centre.

It's not worth it for the price paid! For instance, the shower based was broken, making it difficult to have a proper shower, the rooms were not very clean, and them major issue was the toilet flush! It was not woking. Finally, the breakfast was not good, with cold and overcooked food and with a big sign telling guests to go and have breakfast early at the weekend to get the "best" croissants.

It was convenient to station within easy reach of London. Large room and great breakfast included was a bonus.

One of the workers in the restaurant didn't ask no one else but made me tell her my room number ..and another guest is a regular drug user who was on the 1st floor she had blonde hair

Would stay again

Room clean and adequate for our needs. Breakfast was self service but kept clean and tidy by staff. Plenty of choices, and kept well stocked. Able to stay in the hotel lounge until we were ready to catch our train at noon.

Dining tables a bit wobbly.
