Unforttunately, it was not a good experience over night

Apart from the TV that was working that was it. Shower was okay

No blanket on the bed. i wore my pajamas with fleece and socks to bed. No local amenities e.g. local convenience store Breakfast / very limited strawberry yogurt 1 croissant there was no coffee available (or i did not see it to make myself no telephone in room to let reception know of my problems.

Location

It feels like it wasn’t a hotel anymore, more of a bed sit. Only get a bed and 1 chair in the main room. No desk. I think people living there full time. But not sure. Smells of weed in the hallways. I have stayed here before. Was ok last time. Breakfast was good last time.

I slept well. Breakfast was good.

Signage is terrible. And as you offer a car park I suggest you give the car park postcode for SatNav much more clearly on the website than at present. It is on the web page but you have to search for it. After four tries in the pouring rain I still couldn't find the car park. Four times round the one way system. It's a reasonable assumption that the postcode you first see on the website will take you to the car park but it doesn't. The entrance on Henry street, let's face it, looks like a strip joint. Needs much better signage and much better lighting. Actually I slept well but the signage even inside is woeful.

The staff was kind

The parking facilities were not clearly designated as pay-and-display on website, and the low-clearance roof, coupled with the confined space, made it impossible to maneuver my vehicle. The in-room heating unit was unable to maintain a consistent temperature and generated excessive noise, significantly disrupting my sleep due to the cold conditions.

Bad location, need the essentials in room (kettle) friendly staff

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were nice

The location is awful, there’s a lot of dodgy people about and didn’t feel safe and felt very vulnerable most of the time. Was very hard to find the hotel and then I couldn’t find any parking so had to park directly outside the hotel and then got a parking ticket. Also for the price I paid I at least expected a kettle in the room, I know your a budget hotel but if your not going to have the bare essentials in the room then you need to lower your prices

Very clean, good breakfast, very close to the bus station, railway station and the Steam Museum.

Breakfast was great. Locally sourced food, just bacon for the hot breakfast, but very tasty and plenty of it. Lots of continental choices and even a fresh pancake machine. Local draught beer in the bar.

Very small room, bed against the wall, very claustrophobic. No hair dryer No hand towel in the bathroom Window not sealed properly even though locked closed. I could hear lots of outside noise and wind whistling through the window all night. I barely slept because of this. When I mentioned the issues on check out, the 1st response I got from the young man sat behind the reception laptop was ‘ok, I’ll get that window looked at’ NO apology, until he red my facial response and I got ‘ sorry about that’ I know it’s a budget hotel, but seriously ?!?

Great value, cheap and cheerful, close to transport and pubs in the centre of Swindon.

Convenient location, clean and well maintained. The concierge was friendly and helpful, and promptly attended to rectify a problem with the aircon in my room.

A great hotel on a budget.

This hotel is very good standard for the price with really friendly helpful staff. The room is of high quality and very comfortable.

No kettle or cups for tea and coffee. The breakfast could be a little better to cater for vegetarian and vegan guests, although after asking staff if anything vegetarian or vegan was available, they kindly cooked something extra, as the breakfast is more of a non cooked continental type of serving.

Enjoyed my short stay in a comfortable and clean hotel.

The property was clean and conveniently located. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was provided. Check out time was 11am so it was okay for us.

The car park was not available so we had to park at a nearby car park and paid almost £10.

Service was excellent, Charleigh went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we wanted, nothing was too much trouble. The provision of 24 hour food and drink was an unexpected bonus and very welcome as we are night birds.

Parking is expensive if there for a week. And the breakfast was mainly just bacon and cold food. If you like bacon then you are in a good place.
