Really nice place to stay and very friendly

The whole Hotel-Team is very friendly, easy accessible by car with big parking. The Restaurant is a MUST...delicious!

The pillows were quite high and hard for me. I asked if I could get another kind but it seems that it was not available.

It's ok, but could be managed better.

Friendliness of the Staff, quality of the restaurant and its food. Excellent room and excellent bed, slept like a rose. Also good is the distance from the Airport as several times I stayed over in Luxembourg self but slept not good due to the noise of the City and overflying aircrafts. The Estate the Hotel is based is nice, clean and quite.

That despite you paid in advance they still take 100Euro as a warranty, give you the feeling they don't trust their guests. In the restaurant you cannot put the bill on your room number so you have to pay separately. Your navigation system is guiding you to the main entrance on the road to the Chateau which is bad as that is a dangerous point to turn as the entrance of the Hotel is just 400 meters further down the road. They need to fix that.

Nice hotel, but if you're looking for a wellness retreat, it's better to look for another hotel where the wellne

The hotel is new, beautiful, and located on a stunning property. The room is comfortable, and everything was clean. Although we stayed for only two nights, the room was cleaned (which is not always the case in hotels). The staff was friendly.

What was absolutely disappointing was the fact that the wellness/spa comes with an additional charge, and this was only highlighted in small print on the booking site under the list of available hotel amenities (which many people, like us, will overlook), while it is not mentioned anywhere in the main description. Additionally, the spa is only available with prior reservation (when you're on vacation, you want to go to the spa whenever you feel like it, not when it's available and after making a reservation). Furthermore, we were given a room for people with disabilities, which was unnecessary, even though we had booked a superior room. One would expect a shower cabin with an actual partition, not just a curtain (again, I understand this is intended for people with disabilities, but then we should have been given a room that wasn't designed for that purpose). Overall, the feeling in the hotel is that they are trying to extract extra money from you. The room was missing a TV remote, but we received it shortly after calling the reception.

Belgium’s Finest Fairways & the Perfect Stay

Hotel du Bois d'Arlon – A Peaceful Golf Getaway We chose the Hotel du Bois d'Arlon mainly for its location near the golf course, and for that purpose it’s perfect. This new hotel offers modern comfort, a SPA, and a wonderfully quiet setting that makes it easy to switch off from everyday stress. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was pleasant, though nothing extraordinary. The same goes for the restaurant – decent, but not the highlight of our stay. If you’re coming for golf, it’s an ideal base. If you’re not a golfer but you’re looking for a relaxing retreat in calm surroundings, you may still find your happiness here.

Unfortunately the biggest disappointment of our stay was the steak. Overcooked, lacking seasoning, and far from what you’d expect from an otherwise high-standard hotel, it left us wishing we’d chosen something else on the menu.

A quiet and relaxing hotel set in over 100 hectares of parkland

The hotel is set in the grounds of a château, surrounded by three golf courses (2x9 hole, 1x18 hole). There are extensive walks available in the grounds and a high quality spa facility. The rooms were quiet and peaceful with an excellent view over the surrounding countryside. The bar/bistro area with a large terrace overlooking the golf course is smart with a good selection of food and drink. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. We were made to feel at home. The room itself was superbly comfortable and everything we hoped for. So good that we considered staying for the whole weekend rather than just one night but sadly we could not interrupt our schedule.

Portions in the bistro were too large for us. I don't like to waste food but neither my wife or I were able to finish our meal because everything was too large. One dessert would have been sufficient for a family of four. The entrée would have made a complete meal. If I had known how large the portions were I would have ordered just the entrée and avoided the other choices. Breakfast was acceptable put poor by comparison with other four star hotels in the same area. The cooked breakfast (choice of sausage, egg, bacon, beans) was of disappointing quality, croissants were stale. The hotel needs to improve the breakfast options to compete with alternatives.

Great facility, Service is very lacking

The property itself is wonderful - in a beautiful location and the quality of the building, fittings and furnishings are fantastic. It's brand new so has all the mod cons and is pristine. The room was also spotlessly clean. The car park is excellent - lots of spaces

The service needs much work (and I see this also in a number of other reviews). More specifically: - check in - we asked for two twin rooms. I even called a week before to double check and it was confirmed. Upon arrival we had doubles. They said they could "luckily" correct the rooms. They then moved one of the rooms to another double so had to be corrected again. And we no longer had two rooms together (on different floors)… It is worth pointing out that the lady at check in was very nice and very professional. - dinner - it's not a cheap restaurant so l'd expect good food. The food wasn't good value. My beef was supposed to be medium rare. It was cooked well beyond well-done. Ok mistakes happen so I told the waiter politely. He looked at the steak and said no it's fine it is a medium rare as far as he is concerned! After having to insist I finally got a medium rare replacement which was beautifully cooked. We ordered a bottle of wine. The glass has a very obvious lipstick mark that we had to point out (once we managed to get hold of the waiter which wasn't easy). - the bill - after dinner we were given the wrong bill SIX (yes six!) times. It was getting tedious having to reject bill after bill! - breakfast - was not good... admittedly we got there 25 mins before it finished but there was very little left and what was there looked awful. (See pic of "scrambled eggs"). I asked for salt and pepper and the waitress just pointed at another table indicating I should do and get it. Please sort these things out as the place itself is lovely.

The golf course was amazing we loved playing in it. We played 9 holes and literally loved it!!!! Showers were nice.

Spa facilities were paid. And they have 2 hot tubs a small sauna and hamam and a smallest pool so going around takes max 1 hour. This type of hotel, a lot of money, you are making everything excluded and this what you get for. Location is sooo remote, Arlon does not even have a lunch place. We ate at the restaurant one time, as a butcher’s girlfriend that was not a angus at all. It was full fat and we stopped, we asked sauce it never came, one person knows English. At this whole hotel almost no one knows anything besides French, no Dutch no English. In golf course a guy came to us and basically (he works there) yelled us about the sand meanwhile I was just started, just because we are young they are thinking they can tell those to us? Electric parking places parked by non electric cars. We took massage it was like birds touching me, my cat does better massage. Nothing was worthwhile of that amount of money and we were here to celebrate my birthday. What a waste of money and time. Breakfast is the poorest breakfast that I have even seen in my life. And the bed omg bed makes you hurt from every piece of you. And also bring your own shampoo after 4 times of washing your hair will be so hard you will never wanna touch your hair.

Location is great if you want a quiet and remote place. rooms were spacious with nice views. Modern amenities. Food in the brasserie is good quality.

Breakfast was very basic for the rates you pay. In the room there were no glasses and only 2 capsules for coffee in a double room. The only restaurant in the hotel was fully booked when we tried to reserve the day we arrived. You could also not go for a walk around the golf course which would have been nice.

Very comfortable hotel on a great location

Excellent location on the Golf course, close to the motorway but the area is very quiet. Free parking. Beautiful building and design interior, very comfortable bed in a spacious room, walk-in rain show and separate toilet, fast WiFi, Airconditioning and big tv with many channels. Very nice restaurant with good food, fresh and homemade products, interesting wine collection. The staff is excellent! Very friendly, will walk the extra mile to provide the best service with a smile.

Today the website, hotel information and all the signs in the hotel are in French only. It would be great to have more languages. And it will be very convenient to have more roadsigns from the motorway to the venue.

New hotel in lovely surroundings

Lovely hotel with dining area, bar, terrace and spa facilities. Everything is new and fresh. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Only open for 2 weeks so has a number of 'teething' problems which will hopefully improve over time. Difficult to find as signage isn't up yet. Dinner and drinks service was extremely slow and waitresses seemed inexperienced. Heated pool did not feel heated. TV had bad reception and bathroom mirror wasn't working (no light or anti-condensation function). Requested beds were not available.

Zakelijk hotel, verzorgd.

Goede locatie. Goed restaurant. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Ruime kamer, goede geluidsdemping, mooi ingericht. Zeer comfortabele bedden en badkamer. Er was bij het ontbijt ook beperkte keuze voor glutenvrij. Accidenteel een kamer met 2 eenpersoonsbedden gekregen, werd onmiddellijk gewijzigd door de receptie toen we dit gingen zeggen

Komt erg koel en zakelijk over. Je moet betalen voor zwembad ! Dat vind ik in deze categorie niet aanvaardbaar. De wandeling kon niet afgemaakt worden gezien te veel regen en het pad stond onder water. Het pad was slecht aangeduid bij de start. Voor dit genre hotel is het ontbijt toch eerder beperkt.
