Beautiful building and setting. Exquisite decor and furnishings and immaculately clean.

Was extremely hot when visited and appreciate no AC in period building but was no fan to cool the air or fridge for drinks

Vriendelijk ontvangst en afhandeling in een prachtig oud gebouw in een hele rustige omgeving. Keurige kamer met een geweldig bed, hele fijne douche en prachtig sanitair schoon en verzorgt. Het geheel straalt ambiance uit mooi modern gerenoveerd met oog voor de geschiedenis van het gebouw. Na de reis nog een wandeling in rond het landgoed, prachtig...Na een goede nacht een lekker ontbijtbuffet waar niets miste, wij konden er wel aan wennen. Deze accommodatie staat op het lijstje om nog eens terug te keren.

De open haarden stonden aan, bij temperaturen waar het niet nodig is. Leuk voor de sfeer, maar slecht voor de natuur. Niet meer passend in een veranderend klimaat.

Rooms clean and spacious. Lovely historic chateau.

More furniture in the room and bathroom. ie. a table in the bathroom next to sink for toilet bags etc. Chairs would have been nice in the room as it was a spacious room. A kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room for that early morning cuppa. A shelf for the cases would have been nice. Lack of choice at breakfast and cooked meats had flies on them. There was no explanation from the staff as to where the cutlery or bins were and no identification labels on breakfast items. The Chateau, although lovely and picturesque is far from eating places. Don't arrive on a Monday night as the restaurant that is close by is closed. Transport is then required to find the nearest restaurant which is also very difficult as most were closed on a Monday night.
