Gorgeous small hotel with lovely staff and accommodation

We have stayed here in July. Loved it then, which is why we returned. It’s a small hotel. But the quality of the bedroom is exceptional. Huge double bed. Many lights and sockets. Fantastic bathroom, with walk in shower. Huge LG TV, with multiple European channels. Best of all was our receptionist. Friendly, attentive. Thank you. See you next year.

Position by a lake. Very modern and smart . Excellent shower and other facilities . Well presented breakfast. Good room size .

Food expensive , the dinner menu was ok but a bit pretentious. There was a lack of communication between the reception and the restaurant- we were given a dinner time slot but were criticised for turning up at the given time by a bossy and rude woman member of staff..

Lovely place to stay with delicious food.

Modern comfort rooms mixed with traditional features. Friendly efficient service with delicious food in the restaurant. Comfortable beds and a very good breakfast.

We were sat by an open window in the restaurant and there was an unpleasant odour wafting in from the river. It spoilt our dining experience.

Beautiful location, quiet, clean, comfortable.

Beautiful, very tranquil location in the very south east corner of Belgium. We checked in very late, got a front door code through the Booking app and found our room key ready for us at reception. The room and bathroom were highly comfortable and clean, with complimentary tea and coffee in the room. Our car charged overnight, 25m from the front door, and was ready for us in the morning. All in all a wonderful place, highly recommended. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that aspect.

A delightful stay in a green oasis

The hotel is situated in a small hamlet at the end of the road. There are many lovely walks through the forest and along the waterways. The hotel staff are most accommodating and I was able to sit in the sitting room and work online even though I arrived well before check in. The beds are very comfortable and there is everything you need for your stay.

we had a room with a terrace, very comfortable bed and bed linen. Nice shower and bathroom, our dog was made very welcome with a throw on the sofa in the room provided incase he wanted to sleep on it!

Peaceful rural location with walks through the woods. Fantastic bedroom with luxury bathroom, robes, great towels, walk in shower. Unfortunately unable to comment on restaurant as closed the night we stayed, but breakfast was full, stylish, served at table and eaten while overlooking a lake. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nice people. perfect location in a nice and quite area but still close to the highway.

I liked the room. it had a sofa where I could relax. the location is beautifully and peaceful. that is what I like

toilet was a bit small. the door opens to the inside. I had to leave the door open. no big problem if you’re alone. but if you are with a couple it’s less comfortable

The location is in the middle of a peaceful forest by an ancient forges (smith?) Easy walks to enjoy the autumn colours. You must eat at the restaurant. It’s pricey but Michelin quality.

Breakfast was very good but cost €18 / person. Yikes!

Fantastic and unique location at a small river. Very quite. The food was fantastic. The place is run by the same family for many decades; they are very friendly, helpfull and make you feel welcome.

Our room was a little cold upon arrival and it took a while for the heater to take effect. Other than that, faultless.
