I need to come again to try the other dishes

A wonderful hotel resto in the quiet location up the hill off the beaten path. Friendly staff, wonderful cuisine, I ate until I was completely full. Bathroom from cca 50? years ago which I liked a lot. This is how travellers did it not so long ago. Huge comfy bed. Wifi. Huge parking right in front. There was only three tables worth of us this eve, but I get an impression this place is used to much larger footfall.

I expected the hotel to be in Virton, not a couple of miles away. Mea culpa I know ! should've checked. The other thing: Sabayon in the restaurant was not available that night. Neither was Viellie Prune or Marc,

Off the beaten path and easy parking. Older hotel needed updates. Very little contact with staff.

Rural location. Good value. Near a nice friendly village. Comfortable and clean.

Good value for money for nature lovers

Hotel is situated next to a camping, close to a nature reserve with great hiking trails and +- 2 km from the center of Virton (so you would need a car to get there). The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the rooms very big with a comfortable bed and a nice breakfast served at the table.

The bathroom is a bit outdated but is big & clean

La Venerie is a nice hotel in the typical style of the Ardennes with superb view and a great terrace for all meals and drinks. All personnel was extremely kind and always ready to help. Very good breakfast en different menu's for all budgets. The location is well situated to discover the Gaume by walking and driving around.

Comfortabele stop-over met fijn restaurant voor prima prijs.

Voor ons is dit een perfecte stop op weg naar de Bourgogne. Fijne grote kamers emt heerlijk bed. Eenvoudige badkamer maar ruim en schoon. Het isheel handig om veilig voor de deur te kunnen parkeren, in het restaurant heerlijk te kunnen eten en de volgende ochtend een fijn ontbijt te kunnen eten. Alles ter plekke voor een hele schappelijke prijs.

Alles kan een update hebben. Het hotel bestaat al enige jaren en is van de ouders van de huidige eigenaresse(n) geweest. Daardoor is de sfeer en sommige faciliteiten iets gedateerd. Maar toch is de basis heel goeden doet het weinig af aan de plek. De prijs is ook passend en dat maakt heel veel goed.

Prachtig!

Ik had een geweldig verblijf! We werden heel goed ontvangen en we voelde ons welkom. De hondjes ook. Fantastisch uitzicht en locatie. Het ontbijt zeer verzorgd en alles was er. Heel nette kamer met alle comfort. Een aanrader !!

Le charmant hôtel de campagne en Ardennes vaut le détour

Cet hôtel a une âme, une histoire , j’aime l’empreinte du temps sur cet hôtel plein de charme authentique. La literie est excellente , et la vue de la chambre m’a coupé le souffle tellement c’est beau. On est bien reçu par la patronne.Petit déjeuner généreux. Je recommande cet hôtel

Une très belle découverte ! Cet hôtel nous a enchanté !

Un petit hôtel dans un cadre boisé et calme. Une très grande chambre avec un grand lit confortable, un salon et petit frigo garni, une grande salle de bains avec un grand choix de serviettes , le tout très propre ! 2 soeurs très accueillantes ont repris la succession de leurs parents depuis 4 ans et font beaucoup de travaux pour la rénovation . Un très copieux et bon petit déjeuner servi dans la salle à manger avec de l'espace entre les tables. Le parking est gratuit . Lors de notre prochain séjour nous testerons le repas servi uniquement le soir . Facile d'accès : il y a des panneaux pour indiquer l'emplacement de l'hôtel

Goed verblijf, zorg dat je auto in goede staat is wil je er parkeren

De locatie is prachtig om te zien met een mooi uitzicht, de kamer was goed en het personeel was vriendelijk.

De helling om naar het hotel toe te rijden was zeer steil (hellingsgraad minimaal 20%) gezien de staat van mijn koppeling en versnellingsbak ben ik de helling niet opgereden en heb ik de auto in de berm geparkeerd. De koppeling en versnellingsbak zijn bij mij aan reparatie toe. Er loopt vlak onder de helling een kruisende weg, waar verkeer over heen rijdt met daar achter een hele diepe afgrond. Iets te hard naar beneden of iets dat op dat moment net faalt kan fataal zijn. De combinatie van die helling is levensgevaarlijk.
