The hotel reception should be located on the Main street, not at the back of the property. Lovely place but apparently no dedicated front office guy to handle incoming clients

Room OK, nothing much for food (other than great backerei).

Rooms were fine. Pillows good. The owners responded right away when the TV in one of the two rooms we reserved didn’t work.

1-The power went out in our room, and maybe the owners were unavailable, but we never heard back from the owners and the power wasn’t one even when we checked out the next day. 2- The waitress at the restaurant next door said we couldn’t stay on the terrasse (which we thought was part of the hotel according to their hotel’s website and pictures). She didn’t even ask us if we wanted to eat something- which we would have done, but when she said “the hotel and this restaurant/bar is separate, we need to leave”, we just left and ate elsewhere. If this is the restaurant the website refers to, it needs to let people know at time of reserving the rooms that the restaurant is on their scheduled closing weeks. There is only a pita place and a backerei in town. Other restaurant by bahnhof was also closed.

Great stay

Very to the railway station, room gives all the necessary comfort, mini fridge in the room. Communication prior to check in was superb. Microwave available. Perfect for a short stay and still adequate for a longer one unless you intend to sit in your room all day.

Microwave in the hallway (rather than in a separate room) feels a little strange though it certainly didn't bother me.

Ideal for single traveller moving through the Somme

Everything worked. Quiet spot. Parking was easy and off the street. Only use rear entrance from parking area. Coded entry then keyed apartment with ensuite

it’s very modern and in exceptional condition, the bed was extremely comfortable and the location was very quiet with a lovely park and small lake at the rear, it was self check in too which was unusual but in a good way.

Very poor

There was no personnel at the hotel and no breakfast options. This is not clearly communicated on the website of booking. There was a bad smell in the room. I do not recommend this hotel. Poor value for money

The lack of reception was actually a huge plus. When we arrived late and could just let ourselves straight into the room without having to deal with anyone. I believe all hotels should be set up like this :)

Trully recommend for short staying 👍

Super clean! Everything in good condition and functional. I like the ideea of no reception. Prompt answer at the phone, i had problems with the entrance code. She helped me in matter of minutes.

All info should be posted in a final e-mail, nice and clear. Better in e-mail than a private message in booking.com app/site.

Disappointing. Got twin beds instead of reserved queen bed; room was prepaid so no chance to cancel

Nice view of playground and pond. Parking behind the building was available.

We had reserved a room with a queen size bed and saw this confirmed in our reservation. Our room however had twin beds. There was no lobby or receptionist so we had to contact the owner by phone (she was on vacation elsewhere). She insisted that we had reserved twin beds and not a queen size. When we sent her a copy of the room description in our confirmation, she said that Booking .Com had messed up. After this phone call, she sent us two WhatsApps in which she tried to convince us that 2 twin beds, 80 by 200 cm, are the same as a queen size of 160 by 200 cm. I told her that we understood the math but there is a difference between sleeping in 2 twin beds with a crack in the middle, and sleeping on a queen size mattress. Instead of reacting to our complaint in a positive manner and offering to help us, she repeatedly denied it was not a queen or that she was responsible for Booking.Com's error. She offered no partial refund or different room; not even an apology. She grudgingly said we could have one glass of wine . Needless to say, we did not take her up on this offer. Disappointing reaction for somebody who runs a hotel.

Nice and quiet stay . Perfect for short stay!

I liked value for money for that hotel and very quiet location. Staff at the restaurant on the ground floor was quite helpful.

No elevator, since hotel occupy only the 2 and 3d floors, so when you are arriving with a lot of luggage it is a bit cumbersome.

Convenient

Location -easy to find. Clean and cosy, well maintained. No Staff, no reception. Use of codes for the gate and the room. Available parking of the hotel and many parking lots next to the hotel because of the sports centre next to it. Next to the hotel, there is a nice park with a lake in the centre, a nice place for a promenade.

The restaurant of the hotel works only with reservations and we were not allowed to seat there without a reservation.

Practical location with free parking, clean, efficient access with a code

Not soundproof at all (could very well hear the people and table moving in the restaurant with terrace right below, a noisy group of people who arrived at 1 am, one of whom stayed in the next room and I could hear him snore and his phone vibrate)

Pleasant and comfortable

We had a nice stay at the hotel. The owners were very friendly and it was a very pleasant experience overall. The restaurant at the hotel is also good as well as the bakery next door.

The AC did not work as expected. It stopped and we couldn’t get the fan on again. It started on its own after a while.
