Final Tour 2025

I stayed near Buillion and this was on the way. A very quaint hotel offering a bed and breakfast. Just off the main road (a downside because you can't walk anywhere - no pedestrian access - just a fast main road). The room was okay a bit dated (sadly the sheets were not the cleanest) , the shower room was quite dated to be honest and the outlook onto bushes. Parking was secure, they had a garage but didn't encourage me to do it so I parked the bike outside. The curtains didn't close (because of the fire escape sign in the room). Breakfast was fine with a good selection of meats and pastries, bread and plenty of tea and coffee on offer. It was manageable to be honest, would I go there again, yes if my intention was to stay in the hotel but sometimes a bike rider wants to park the bike up and have a walk to the local towns. It is my fault about the location I knew what I was doing and how far away it was. No issues the host was fine (didn't understand English) but it was fine for a dash and then go.

Location- you need a car. Sheets were stained (disappointed)

A comfortable hotel away from the hustle and bustle, perfect for a vacation.

A quiet and pleasant living environment. Although the hostess doesn’t speak English, she was very sincere and did her best to help us with all kinds of issues. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious.

The hot water in the bathroom was difficult to control.

Good value for the price including breakfast.

Breakfast was ready at 08:30 instead of 08:00 which delayed our travel plans a bit for the day but it was easter weekend so i understand also.

The bedding in the rooms were very old and the pillow was almost completely flat but again for the price i think it could be acceptable. I just feel that for a bit of a higher price and better bedding with pillows i would be easier for me to go there again.

The hearth in the main room is the highlight, guests come and go from sitting around it all day. The breakfast is wonderful, and the best free continental breakfast I have ever had. The coffee was perfect... and I'm picky. I had 6 and 4 year old children with me, and they loved it. My son at all of the croissants at breakfast for us, my daughter couldn't get enough of the pain de chocolate.

Quirkily Quaint Pension in the Woods!

Free Parking, Wi Fi, Good breakfast. The girl's room (on the first Floor) was really spacious. I had a smaller double on the 2nd Floor (No lift) but both were fine. On arrival we did a short tour as far as Bouillon and then went to the Charme de Semois for an excellent Dinner. A really interesting break on the drive back from Alsace. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Had 2 single wardrobes, one was full of blankets the other was almost full of pillows etc. Fortunately I am quite a fit 79 year old but some people might find taking their suitcase up to the 2nd Floor challenging.

Lovely staff, beautiful location among the trees, great terrace for a drink, decent breakfast, large rooms with comfortable beds and good bathrooms.

Poor WiFi reception, tv didn't work, restaurant is permanently closed.

Breakfast was excellent - a good selection of fresh fruit salad, bread, cheese, ham, pastries and yogurt. Superb location and very quiet. Old fashioned charm and service and a beautiful garden.

Quiet and relaxing stay with good choice of beers

As expected the hotel/guest house was quaint and fairly isolated, the owner only spoke French so difficult to comprehend. Rooms were comfortable and shower was great. Beer was good as well. Quiet and peaceful surroundings, no evening meal though.

20 minute walk to nearest restaurant but food was good at the Point de Vue, Rochehaut, and they even gave a lift back as it was raining heavily.

family ambiance stay in a forest environment

The Owner was very nice to us and we spent the evening like “in family” with the other guests. the breakfast is great

although the room was very comfortable the bedding was rather smelly and the cushions need replacement. we asked for a bedside lamp and received it.

Very atmospheric rustique lication

Very atmospheric location in the forest. Beautiful old house with rustique interior, runner by a wonderful person. Clean rooms, great breakfast. Bar open in the evening, to have a drink and a chat in front of the big old fireplace. Thank you so much!

The owner speaks not even a single word English, which makes communication especially of you habe to ask important things very difficult Payment by card was not possible, as the card machine was out of order. But they didn’t tell bevor arrival, so we had to search for a cash machine

Superb

Location of the property (but you need a car nonetheless). The room was bigger than I expected, the bed was very comfortable. There was a fireplace at the lobby and sitting by the fire in the evening chatting with the owner was very pleasant. Breakfast was basic but fine; more than enough to fulfil one regular person.

I didn't have phone network there. I believe they offer wifi in the hotel, but I was not going to use it for one night.
