Below average Ibis Budget.

Givet is a beautiful and peaceful town. The hotel is within walking distance of McDonald’s, Lidl, a bakery, and several out-of-town hypermarkets. It offers free parking, a quiet environment, clean bedding, and cardless entry. The staff are generally friendly. Parking in town is mostly free & easy, and we enjoyed the electric boat ride. You must try the homemade ice cream from Patisserie Leval and the nerby Thai food.

This Ibis Budget hotel stay was a major disappointment due to significant health and comfort issues. The presence of a sewer smell in the room, coupled with a poor air conditioning system and the inability to open windows due to pest problems, severely impacted the quality of the stay, to the point where sleep was difficult for some of us. The lack of available staff after 9 pm further exacerbated the situation. While the hotel is generally considered a good value, this experience fell far short of expectations compared to other IBIS budget hotels we have used.

This was a very good Ibis Budget hotel. We stay here from time to time when racing in Belgium and will continue to use.

I stayed here 9 years ago when it was almost new. Shame that it's deteriorating. Strange smell coming from the toilet. The biggest issue were the sheets. I guess I am allergic for the deterrent. Didn't sleep well. But to be realistic.. If you need a place to crash on a budget this price is unbeatable

Comfortable and what you would expect.

Ibis Budget is part of the chain so in many ways one knows exactly what to expect, low cost, limited facilities but clean and comfortable. This site matched corporate standards and was ideal for an overnight stay while traveling.

Ibis Budget is what it is. If you know what to expect you should not be disappointed. Would I choose it for a week long stay? Definitely not but for overnight, great.

Nice staff, very welcoming and helpful ! Peaceful. Not much noise despite the nearby commercial centre

took an hour for the person to check me in, charged my friend twice and the carpets were sticky. not at all up to the usual Ibis high standard I usually experience. maybe an off day

Good shower and air con was working fine. Room was of an acceptable standard and size.

Staff on reception was a little grumpy. Possibly a little bit further from Givet town centre than we thought it would be - about 25 minutes walk.

Ease of booking in on arrival and the fact it was so easy to find the hotel. Great shower!
