Charming gite, with everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay.

Good for travellers

Convenient location, easy to access e parking is right in front of the door. Recommended for travelers that want to move around freely.

Bathroom situation is very intimate since it is an open space with the bedroom. If you're alone no worries.

Quaint villa just out of town

This villa was very cute. It was very spacious, and I love the upstairs and downstairs availability. Had a very cute patio.The neighborhood was very quaint and out of town , which was wonderful.

Was not able to sit on the patio. Due to the smell of septic outside. Wifi wouldn't connect.

Beautiful property, Clean and Comfortable

The owner met us in the parking lot as soon as we arrived with the keys. He didn't speak much English and our French is not so great but we easily communicated through Google Translate and check-in was a breeze. The apartment is exactly as pictured and very spacious and comfortable. We were in an electric car and there were charging units right across the road at the other hotel. The shower was great and the bed was comfortable. I looked at a lot of properties in Bastogne and honestly chose this one because my middle name was in the title, but I was more than impressed with the space. Of all the places we stayed during our Europe trip, this was the most comfortable.

This was a great room close to Bastogne. The room was fully equipped with all kitchen essentials. The HVAC worked very well. Easy, free parking and very quiet.

A new, modern two-level stand-alone apartment five minutes by car away from Bastogne town center. Very clean and comfortable. Parking is in the courtyard right outside the apartment. Great value for a very nice base from which to explore Bastogne and the surrounding Ardennes area.

There was no food, including breakfast.

Although the apartment was excellent there was no service, the venue is in the middle of nowhere without any facilities, the owner showed me the sitting room and sleeping facilities and was in a hurry to get away. She did not show how anything works, especially the coffee machine which we were unable to use, I asked if we could eat in the restaurant and was told that she was full, no effort was made to even provide a snack or a drink. We had traveled over 500km and were very tired, so we hungry without any food with not even a coffee! Very disappointing. Once rested the following day we drove into Bastogne for whatever we wanted. We did not see Evelyn until we left and handed the keys back. Not once did she check if we were ok!!!

A lovely farm setting that was quiet, comfortable, and clean.

Lovely farm setting, clean and comfortable. Hostess recommended and made us reservations for a local restaurant that was wonderful.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work. She told us that the set up was new, and she said it might be a problem. We tried to contact her and tell her, but we did not get a response.

We found this property by accident but we were unfortunate that it was fully booked for the weekend and we could only stay one night.

Double recliner couch!!!

beautifully decorated and well appointed. fully equipped kitchenette. Comfortable bed. And the best thing of all was the double recliner couch. Just what I needed after a long day of touring and hiking.

It’s in the country and that means dogs bark at all hours including early morning and after midnight. A bit cozy for big bags.

A clean place to lay your head, close to Bastogne

This location is a one bedroom apartment. It had modern furnishings. The owner is ambitious, trying to run at least two businesses in the same space. Your parking spot is at the same location as their restaurant, a small gravel space that can hold maybe three cars.

What didn't go well... We were there during a timeframe when the many farmers in the community were preparing their fields for the next years crops, the area wreaked of cow manure the whole time we were there. The owners have two businesses, this "Bed and no Breakfast" plus a restaurant that stays open late so the restaurant guests get louder as the night goes on. Both of those negatives (manure smell and loud guests), might have been overcome if the A/C worked and we could have closed the windows. The restaurant (while we were there) is small and only takes reservations so as guests in the lodging there is no openings for you at the restaurant, you must find food elsewhere.

A nice place (but you need a car)

Quiet area, +-3km from Bastogne (you need a car). Two-story house with kitchenette (bedroom and bathroom upstairs). There's also a patio so you can have breakfast outside, weather permitting. Coffee and tea on the house.

We had a lot of mosquitoes in our bedroom on the second night (I guess there's a pond or a lake nearby). There are two individual, electric couches in front of the telly. It's nice, but depending on your company you might have preferred one two-seater couch instead.
