Very nice location - the room with a sauna is pretty great!

- The room we booked was awesome: it had a jacuzzi, a sauna and a great walk-in shower. Although we only stayed for one night, it was truly memorable; - Breakfast was great. It was very diversified and had many nice choices. It was hard to decide what to eat! - Location is great , in the middle of nature.

- Altough the restaurant is nice and looks pretty good, the service was quite bad. We waited for our order for a very long time, just to find out that the waiter actually forgot to forward our order to the cook. When we finally ordered (the duck breast), we were served with an even greater delay something else ( chicken), while the waiter was trying to convince us that it is actually duck breast. - The self check-in procedure is quite confusing. We were not able to receive the room key, until we contacted a member of the staff.

A lovely hotel, a great location, and serve the purpose well.

Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Activities available for the teens to do in the evening (sports equipment, board games etc). We were there because we were travelling to the Formula One each day, so we didn’t need much, but having a fridge and a kettle in the room was a real bonus. There was also a microwave downstairs that the boys discovered, which we could’ve used if we needed. Generally, a well positioned hotel and well thought through. Worked really well for what we needed.

The room was more compact than I was expecting. We booked a quad, for two very tall (over 6 foot tall) 15 year old boys and myself. In the picture online, it looked as though we would have two singles on a mezzanine floor, plus a double on the ground. What we actually got was two small singles on the ground floor, with a small double on the mezzanine. Unfortunately, the stairs to the mezzanine were very steep, and there was no way I could manage them, And the height clearance above your head on the mezzanine, was only about 2 1/2 foot. One of the teenagers managed to crawl up there each night, and the other had one of the singles next to me, so we managed, but there’s no way we could’ve done it if there had been four of us.

Great overnight stay in nature!

- great location in the nature - spacious room and nice bathroom - friendly and helpful staff - big parking area - lot of possibilities for kids and families

- very uncomfortable matresses (gap between two, not possible to put it together) - unfortunately did not have the chance to try the restaurant as it was fully booked that evening - not a good selection of vegetables for breakfast

Poor customer service, and climate control. Fire alarm went off at night and took half an hour for an employee to show up

Good if you don’t expect too much

The best part is localisation. Place is beautiful and outdoor attractions from hotel like gym or bar is nice.

We didn’t have air conditioning in room. It was also loud outside after 23 and no one from the staff reacted when someone was playing basketball and shouting. There is no telephone in the room to call the reception. The telephone provided on the leaflet and website is not active after 8:00 PM, so with any problem you have to go through the entire hotel to the reception in person.

The room was really nice with a wonderful view into the woods. The place is beautiful and ideal for some relaxation! The staff was very nice and helpful! The breakfast was great! Highly recommend!

Nice and clean kids-friendly place. Good location.

Prices of the restaurant (but also coffee, drinks etc) were relatively high. In the village the prices were much lower (local bakery) and you could go for the same in more lively touristic places.

Very nice hotel with lovely rooms

It is a really lovely, clean and spacious hotel. The rooms were exeptional. The staff was really friendly. They had glutenfree bread and other stuff, so really good for my children with gluten intolerance. We come back for sure!

Bad

No Aircon, and just a really squicky ceiling fan that kept us up all night. The toilet flushed with extremely hot water, turning the bathroom into an extra heater, making the room even more unbearable. Wouldn't recommend.

We liked to be a bit outside of the city so it was really nice to wake up next to the forest and took a long walks

That is would be really nice if the rooms having a small fridge so our drinks are not getting too warm or an ice cube maker maschine

Worst money spent ever...

On the website, this place is advertised as a quiet place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city, ideal for relaxing from the hustle and bustle of the streets and city noises. The location of this hotel on the map seems to confirm this. We've been waiting for a weekend like this for a long time. Unfortunately, on the first night it turned out that it was just an advertising gimmick, throughout the night there was a loud party with about 20 people outside our windows. Loud music, alcohol, singing and screaming until the morning. Throughout the weekend I slept maybe 3 hours so trips to beautiful surroundings were also not what I expected (due to fatigue) If I wanted to spend the weekend partying, I would stay in Amsterdam, not leave. In the morning I decided to ask at the reception if it would be like this for the whole weekend, but unfortunately, no one from the hotel staff spoke English. I decided to write an e-mail and I did it the next day. Unfortunately, to date, I have not received a reply. Worst money spent ever and I would like to get it back because I feel cheated.

The property is beautiful and it is not far from the city center.

There are hiking trails and a nice playground for the children. It is close to the city center.

There was a fire that broke out on the property on the Friday 24th Feb 2023. There were no proper alert actions in place and the sprinkler system did not activate or there was none to begin with. The alarm was not even a fire alarm but more of a loud beep. The staff that alerted us about the fire, screamed at us in French, clearly seeing that we are confused, but still continued in French with hand gestures. Once outside, no communication what so ever as to what needs to happen. We were left in the cold until the fire trucks arrived. After the ordeal, no apology or explanation was given. No refund for the night that it happened. Not even a complimentary breakfast or dinner. We were unable to have supper that night. My family was left starving. Our weekend was ruined, due to us being too exhausted from the ordeal. To top it off, due to us speaking English, we felt so lost and isolated because no one accommodated us or at least tried to continue to speak to us so that we can try to get a better understanding. I will not be staying here again.
