All bar the lack of TV was fine.
I and my friends were very disappointed to find that there weren't any conventional TV channels given that we were all in our seventies which the owner when I rang explained was because they didn't pay for a TV Licence.

Clean, spacious, with wonderful views, we loved it all.
Very welcoming, both the communication and the home itself; there was privacy for 3 couples but combined with large communal areas, a kitchen/dining room as well as living room, both with big picture windows, giving you great views of the hills; walks across the hills start at the end of the drive; Kendal is a lovely town, with good facilities, and easy access to the Lake District.

Sylvan Wood is a great cottage near Kendal. Clean, modern, cosy and has everything you need. Cant fault the property Nd the amenities. Great option to discover the lake district area. Many thanks for the friendly owner for helping us during our stay HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
