Roomy and comfortable- within a very short walk of the town, this property is ideal for large families or groups of friends. Everything works and fittings are of a good order. Putting out the rubbish was a puzzle however as the big wheelie bin was already full!

This is a very spacious beautifully presented, immaculately clean property situated in an amazing location minutes walk to the town of windermere and one and half miles from Bowness on windermere. There are lots of lovely walks on the doorstep, we stayed for 3 nights and didn't use the car once, we were a group ranging from 18 to 71 and there was something to do for everyone the youngsters found a quiet pier about a mile from the property where they swam during the day and took some drinks and lit a fire at night. We all did a 7 mile walk to Ambleside one day and visited the Low Wood sports waterspouts centre which I can't recommend enough, some did the paddle boarding and we hired a small boat. If you want to take a small boat out on the lake don't go to Bowness to do it, far to touristy and you have to que go to the Low Wood watersports centre, better boats and a lot more civilised. I have no hesitation in recommending this house everything about it was amazing and we will definitely return.
