Hated my experience from beginning to end 😡😡😡

We loved the house, beds were all comfortable, kitchen had mostly everything.

Where do I begin 😞😞😞 First off… Sky Cottages- the company that manages this property was such a HEADACHE to deal with: 1. They make you create and login to a separate account to make minimal requests but still ask that you call to confirm 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ 2. Too many LOOONGGG messages 3. You can never reach them… before, during and after —- so hard! 4. We had a 1 year old screaming in the car and a 6 year old having a tantrum and we’ve been trying to contact them every where for 1 hour ++ ! because we couldn’t find the place! no one answers! 5. The directions to the house was take a left on this specific street—- but that street leading to the house felt like you were going into someone’s property so we really missed it. PLUS there were no signs… the cottage didn’t even say Riven Oak. 6. They make you remove all the linens and clean everything before you leave! - so we spent our last morning - cleaning the dishes, removing linens from all 6 beds, consolidating the rubish—- i felt like we did the cleaning job! but they still take a deposit for it. 7. Not even a signle reply or apology after all the messages. I HONESTLY WILL AVOID ALL PROPERTIES MANAGED BY SKY. 😡😡😡 they just made the process from beginning to end such a horrible experience!

Will not stay again and will not recommend to anybody

The cottage was dirty and very dusty full of cob webs I plugged my charger in the exstention lead . Under the bed and I was full of dust and empty packets of crisps There where a lot of con webs that frightened the children Pots pans all head the be washed prior to using especially backing trays Dishwasher was dirty down the sides inside I think the pots came out dirtier I was just not happy at all with the stay All 8 couldn’t shower it was constant hot water which wasent good when you had a function to go to too

A lovely cottage in a great location with plenty of room, a lovely open upstairs area. Well equipped

Great location and enjoyed being able to walk from the door. Well equiped and the upstairs litchen / diner / lounge area is fantastic. Plenty of parking. Wifi very useful as limited phone signal. Nice to have a woodburner in the winter

The downstairs bedrooms were quite "musty" and it might have been nice if there had been more air circulation prior to our arrival. A small welcome pack of tea / coffee would also have been nice
