We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is lovely, well equipped with everything you might need. Will definitely consider booking it again for our next visit to Lake District.

Wonderful Family Friendly Stay at Sunnyside Farm – Highly Recommend!

We had a fantastic family stay at Sunnyside Farm in Grange Over Sands. The rooms were very cozy and comfortable, and the living area was perfect for families, with lots of games for kids like puzzles and board games that kept them entertained. The host was great, friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. We also loved the peaceful location, beautifully surrounded by farms with a real countryside atmosphere, yet still close to nearby attractions. It was an ideal place for a relaxing family getaway, and we would definitely love to come back.

There weren’t any major issues during our stay, but a few small things could improve the experience. We had requested a travel cot in advance, but it wasn’t available when we arrived. The TV was quite small. having a slightly bigger screen would be great, especially for family evenings. It would also be helpful to have a slightly faster Wi-Fi connection if possible. These were only minor points and didn’t affect our overall stay.

Tranquil, stunning views and relaxing

Sunnyside Farm was a peaceful , tranquil hideaway with the most amazing views. I went with some friends with our dogs. The garden was very secure , everything was immaculate. We only stayed 2 nights so didn't venture far, we had everything we needed at the house . Looking forward to returning to Sunnyside 😊

We had a really comfortable 2night stay

Great location near Cartmel for the races. Large property 5 beds so great for friends or families Well equipped kitchen

More mirrors for getting ready and sockets near them for hairdryer. Not super models 😆but do need basic facilities for 5 ladies Also not much hanging space if you were there more than a day or two. Simple coat racks with hangers would suffice.

Our stay was lovely as a 1 nigjt stay. But for a week some areas need improvement.

Breakfast not included

We booked for 7 people and no put up bed was not made up for the 7th guest and could not find any bedding for the extra quilt and pillows. The sofa had lots of crumbs as used the cushions to sleep on as the sofa bed did not feel comfortable.
