There are also a number of beautiful sights nearby if you’re interested in exploring the local area. This includes Morecambe Promenade which boasts award-winning beaches and an array of pubs, bars and restaurants, one of which is the iconic Midland Hotel.
The Lake District National Park is also a short drive away, as well as the Trough of Bowland and the historic city of Lancaster.
Most importantly, on your doorstep, there is the quaint village of Heysham which has a fascinating history – dating back to Viking times. Here, you’ll be able to explore the ancient ruins of St Patrick’s chapel, while taking in the breath-taking views of Morecambe Bay from Heysham Head.

Excellent family stay. Lovely clean, comfortable well equipped house - exactly as shown on the listing. Lots of additional touches, very thought host. More than big enough for our family of 5 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. Garden is well kept, clean and enclosed. Short walk to beach front, which is dog friendly but about 15 minutes walk to central area. Overall I could not fault anything and would definitely recommend the property.
