Perfect for our needs. 6 people for a wedding in Kendal. Kitchen well equipped. Very clean on arrival and functional.
Beds in pod were very comfortable, in fact pod worked really well.
Loved the covered seating area around the Firepit. Great touch.
Large outside brollies were great at keeping rain off.
Bracken barn, where we stayed, was at the end of a line of accommodations. This was fine for our stay, but might be occasions where the outdoor space feels a bit communal.
Probably important to be aware there is no oven. However the outdoor communal Pizza oven and individual BBQs seemed to work well.

Good location, just outside of Kendal, peaceful for the most part (there is a train line very close by). Reasonably priced. Good shower as in water pressure.
Not the cleanest of places (the rugs need a serious clean) and the place needs some updating. The sofa bed had a funny smell to it, so not the best of experiences for the person sleeping on it, it was also not very comfortable. Barely any space left with the sofa bed in use. Also, there is no storage, so if you are there for longer, you'd struggle with your things. The water in the bathroom sink and shower drained slowly.
