Nice little property with convenient location. Parking permit for various locations throughout the Lake District supplied, which was a very welcomed addition.

Sliding sash windows did not have any restrictors. Potential hazard in bedrooms with children in hotter weather.

A cosy, clean and comfortable cottage in a central location. Close to shops, restaurants,pubs and a few minutes walk from the bus station. We made good use of the 555 and 599 stagecoach service for sightseeing. Just £3 took us all the way to Keswick! My companion is partially sighted and appreciated the brightness of the cottage. The cottage is located opposite Booths supermarket; we found that very handy! A short walk along Entry Lane, brought us out onto the main shopping area. There's a good wi fi connection at the cottage, TV if you have time for it. A nice welcome pack of tea coffee milk biscuits - very much appreciated. The beds were incredibly comfortable and everything was cleaned to a high standard. Although not mentioned on the listing, a hairdryer and iron was available. The owners left a car parking permit but we used public transport. We really felt at home in this cottage and would love to return for a longer stay.

We were a little confused over recycling in that we weren't sure where to put it. We noticed random people disposing of their waste in the outside bins. As others have mentioned, the sofa is sagging slightly at one end and gives little back support but as we were out and about for most of our break, it wasn't too much of a problem.

Excellent location, immaculate, beautiful decor, very homely.

A central location, with a Booths Supermarket across the road. 5 minute walk onto the main high street. Free car-parking permit for the long-staff carpark, though the spaces on the Library Road car-park were very narrow. Used an alternative but still in town centre. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and milk was in the fridge on arrival, also some welcome biscuits. Hosts replied to messages very quickly. A lovely property.
