Helton Fell

The location was amazing once you have your luggage in the apartment and figure out the parking. The apartment was recently renovated and well decorated with lots of light. We loved that it was dog friendly. The TV had a lot of channel options. All the amenities were included. The internet was good, the dining room table was a good size for our family of 4 and the living room area was spacious. It was an easy walk to virtually everything in the city, and there were great dining and shopping options. Lovely stay. Parking is very affordable if you park on level 3 of the South Lakeland House parking lot, which is free from 5:30 pm until 8:30 am.

It was confusing to drop off our luggage because the street is one way and only open after 5:00 or 5:30 pm. We wanted a vaccum but there wasn't one in the room or in the housekeeping closet on the landing, and when we requested one, we never got a reply, so didn't get to use it. As a warning, there are a good number of stairs to the top loft, which was expected, but can be difficult to manuever with luggage, so those who aren't sure footed might want to request a lower apartment.

Great quality and equipment very high standard really well done

Location. Pub was a bit noisy across road and the entrance was a little off putting. Especially as on our last evening someone was sick on the door step which we had to clean up Parking behind location was secure but locked at 18:30 which meant if you were out for a meal you missed securing the car. This is key since there was limited space at the property to store equipment or bikes so they had to stay in car

A nice modern apartment facilities for cooking etc were good.

The entrance alleyway is very offputting. It was difficult to find the entrance.
