About this house rental
Boston House, sleeps 15 in 7 bedrooms with 7 bathrooms. This classic Lake District house has a large kitchen, 7-seat hot tub in a private area and a 15-seat cinema in the cellar. Located close to Windermere the property is ideally placed for walking into the village with all of its cafes, restaurants and bars.
The house features a lounge with large leather Chesterfield sofas, Smart TV and a living flame gas fire. The dining room seats up to 15 guests. The large kitchen has a central island unit, a large electric range cooker, 2 dishwashers and everything you need to cook up a splendid meal for your guests. The cellar is home to our 15-seat cinema with 75 inch Smart TV. Upstairs there are 7 bedrooms, 5 are ensuite, there are 2 separate bathrooms one on each floor.
Outside there is a rear courtyard garden with a private 7-seat hot tub. At the front of the property, there is parking for up to 8 cars. There is access to a fast EV charger located on the wall of the maintenance building.
We welcome up to 4 dogs at the property. There is an additional charge per dog, which can be added at check-out.

We booked for a corporate meeting. Everything about our stay was seamless. Very clear communication from the owners beforehand, the owner was on site if we needed anything. The house was perfect for our needs and being so close to Windermere was a real bonus.

This would have been our 4th or 5th stay at Boston House.
The location is perfect couple of minutes walk to Booth supermarket for a top up shop although we did arrange a Tesco home delivery for the necessary items for our stay.
Rooms are decorated well and beds are comfortable (although the shower in room 2 isn’t the best. This was reported the last time we stayed and nothing has been done to fix or change it)
Living area is starting to look a little tired .
Kitchen is perfect for our family group as it’s the ideal place to socialise due to the size and good use of the island . Kitchen has nearly everything you could need apart from baking/pizza trays.
Considering the large group we found the wooden picnic benches not great considering there used to be good quality garden furniture previously
