Large room, large premises

On main road and lots of guys were talking and shouting most of the early hours of the morning. The fridge was not clean. The shower was not clean.

Ok for getting your head down but other than that I would not be staying here again

The bedroom was fine but the cleanliness of the kitchen n bathroom left a lot to be desired hence I refused to make a drink and I had to wash the shower out before stepping in

Not what I was expecting

We liked how close we were to the city centre and that there was a bus stop right outside, the mattress was really comfy

It was advertised with free parking, but I had to park my car on a side street, the pillows were flat and really uncomfortable, being a cleaning services area manager, I was disappointed that the room it’s self was unsatisfactory, skirting dusty, inside drawers were dusty, the shared bathroom was very poor, shower tray was very dirty, bloodied toilet roll at back of toilet. It was that bad we left early morning

The bed was comfy. Good value for money. Easy instructions on how to enter the property was provided. Basic but fit for purpose.

It wasn't very clear what room I was staying in but the owner answered my phone call very promptly and guided me where I needed to go.

Good location but too much noise

Nice room and very convenient location — right next to a bus stop and less than 15 minutes from the city centre. The staff were warm and welcoming.

Really noisy at night with people talking for a long time and the floor above creaking a lot. The shared bathrooms could have been cleaner

You pay for what you get! Bed was comfy and the Wi-Fi was strong but you don’t want to be there longer than a night / if you have budget for anything else

It was very cheap and if you need a no frills room for one night, it fits the bill.

It was cheap and close to the Utilita Arena, which was where the event we were attended was happening. The bed was comfortable. There were facilities close by to get breakfast and a coffee. We had a query about entry to the property and called the owner who offered to come straight over.

The 'free parking' was a side street where I had to mount the kerb to park. The bathroom needed a good clean, as did the kitchen. The state of decor could have been better. The road which the property was based on was noisy.

Overpriced, filthy dirty shared house on noisy road

This property is absolutely dreadful and should be removed from booking.com. It must breach several health and safety standards, the overall cleanliness was foul. In addition to the lack of cleanliness, please note the following if you are considering staying here: 1)There is only 1 parking space and if someone else has it you will need to park in a side street adjacent to the house. The description promises “free parking, no reservation required” but this simply isn’t accurate. 2) there are no towels provided - wouldn’t have been a problem if I’d known. We couldn’t shower as we hadn’t brought any (but the shower was so dirty I’m not sure I would have wanted to anyway! See photos) 3) there are no kitchen facilities save for a couple of items, which were filthy (see photo). If you want tea/coffee you will need to bring everything, including a kettle. The one provided was disgusting (it was brown inside. I have a photo but can’t upload) 4) it is very noisy. This is not a complaint as the property is on a busy main road and is shared with many other rooms in the house, so it’s probably to be expected. Just be aware of it if you’re relying on a good nights sleep. It would appear I can only upload 4 photos which is a real shame as I had several to upload to demonstrate how awful this place is.

Cheap and Convenient stay near central Birmingham

Excellent location for me only a few miles form my work. Very low price. Secure front door on property and the room i was in locked with a key. Room was spacious and had a good bed, desk and chair, some cupboards and drawers and bedside tables with lamps. All working fine. Very good! Nice warm shower in shared bathroom. This might be a negative for some but hall and living rooms had cameras in them as the property looks like an HMO. Bed was soft and smelled fresh. Good quality curtains kept out the early morning light.

Bedroom needed the floor vacuuming as it was a bit dirty, as was some surfaces in the room. Bathroom, which was shared, should have been cleaner. Towel rail needed dusting. Where shower pedestal meets floor needed a thorough clean. Shower unit looks like it needs a good clean. I know it's cheap, and I understand that shared bathroom might be left less than 100% clean by other occupants, but room should be cleaned properly.
