Absolutely spotless. bathroom is modern and clean. And 2 steps from bedroom. Kitchen is modern and spotless. I would 100pc stay again.

Comfortable, well-equipped base in quiet neighbourhood

Location-wise, the nearest bus stop was just outside the house, with quick links into central Birmingham, yet the neighbourhood itself is leafy and quiet – perfect if you want city access without city noise. Outside, the tiered back garden is a sun-trap until late afternoon; I had my coffee out there each morning. I enjoyed my stay at the property and am looking forward to booking again on my next trip

Very expensive for very little

It was clean

There was no room in the fridges or cupboards for any of our own groceries as the fridges were jam packed with other people’s food. It was like a full weekly shop had been crammed into it.

I was very fortunate to have other respectable guests their during my stay who didnt use the bathroom intended to be for our private use, but i can imagine that there are people who would ignore the little sign on the bathroom door in the corridor which indicates its private.

This was the first time I encountered such an embarrassing situation. There was a shortage of toilet paper in this house. Everyone should be told, including the black person in Room 3, because we lived in this house and the guests upstairs shared the same bathroom. I saw toilet paper in the shared bathroom and thought it was shared by everyone and used together. I never thought about buying it myself because we shared a bathroom. I actually didn't know that this roll of toilet paper was bought by customer No. 3, nor did I know that there was an argument over toilet paper. My boyfriend and the black man in Room 3 had an argument over toilet paper. There should be toilet paper in the shared toilet in the homestay we rented. The landlord should purchase toilet paper and supply it to each room for guests to use, instead of going out to buy it when there is no toilet paper. The black man in room 3 had lived there a long time, so of course we didn't steal his toilet paper. Because I told the landlord yesterday that there was no toilet paper in the room and toilet, so I went to a nearby convenience store and bought three rolls. Yes, I am worried because we are going to live here, very worried about safety. The landlord will tell the black people in Room 3 that we still live here, because today the black people in Room 3 came to the kitchen to clean the trash can and looked at me with unfriendly eyes, which made me feel very strange. If there is not enough toilet paper in this room and toilet, and we need to spend money to buy toilet paper, the landlord should let my roommates know that if there is no toilet paper, we need to buy toilet paper ourselves. Now it is really uncomfortable to be misunderstood as stealing toilet paper, because the black people in Room 3 put the bought toilet paper in the public toilet, causing everyone to misunderstand that the toilet paper roll was bought by the landlord.

Very unhygienic place to stay

Where can i start from? We booked 2 rooms for a family of 5. The place was fillthy with a strange smell. We had to clean the toilet ourselves before we could use it. The carpet hadn't been hoovered, the duvet and pillow covers were dirty, When I mentioned it to the owner, he offered to send a cleaner around the next day. I told him not to bother as we decided not to stay the second night. There was another person staying at the property who had all of his laundry hanging and scattered in the communal area. On top of that, instead of refunding me for the night we didn't stay, he had the cheek to mark us down as no show for the second night, so I ended up being charged extra as a result. What a liberty!! He is not replying to my messages and is refusing to cooperate with booking.com. Do yourself a favour and stay clear of this place as it's nothing like what is shown in the pictures.

it was what it was. i hardly spent 3 waking hours there in one day and above is my good and and bad about the place.

i liked that it was straightforward. like everything else it’s ok until there is an unexpected situation and how it’s handled. as for me I was a dream tenant for anyone on short stay. i work 11-8. in my first week I only made it back 2ce. i work 1-2 hrs away. there were some housemates which where pleasant for as much as we crossed paths.

if you drive a car may not be the best, if you don’t like the smell of food you’re used to may not be the best, if you’re counting on using communal areas may not be the best as the other tenants have a kid and in the morning it’s unwritten that it belongs to them. there is no practical way to get in between a family of a wife a husband and kid sharing one double room in the same house. there is a weird neighbour to be weary off. landlord says don’t let him in and don’t open the door for him. i wonder how this would work if you’re to turn everyone away and be expecting an Amazon parcel. if you’re talking all pleasantries you would hear from the landlord. if it becomes something he isn’t expected or required to do good luck waiting on a reply. personally I’d never stay here again. i think the landlord can be professional to an extent but his comms are not exceptional or great for that matter as each time he talks is to sell himself or the place. you likely would have a great time outside this if you’re just in and out like me but don’t expect anything one percent above the normal. the place to park the cars is untarred dark and left me scared most times as I got back late. In the rain it’s just crazy getting from the car to the house. almost half a street away though parking isn’t promised on the listing. my most bitter experience was the cherry on the cake which is the blatant rude ignoring of my messages when I offered 50£ less than he wanted for a month for a room. quite disappointing and rude for the tenant I had been.

Where to start, box room 6ft6' by 6ft...blinds useless, bathroom mold all around 1990s shower. Doors being slammed by other guests all night, this is not a place to stay....and the best till last £330 for this room for 4 nights!!!

absolutely nothing to like about this house. it was disgusting. we paid £230 for a vile room

everything! the bathroom toilet brush was absolutely disgusting, the bedroom felt damp and was very dirty and needed decorating. for the amount we paid it should have been at least clean to a professional standard.
