Absolutely lovely, just check bedroom radiators
I loved the place, very clean, tidy and cosy. It's a place you could call home
Bed was a little hard for me and I didn't sleep very good as it was also cold. I didn't realise until about 5.30am that the radiator was turned off. Downstairs was lovely and warm

Excellent value for money
-Great communication from the host, instructions were left on how to access key from lockbox
-Apartment is like an indoor treehouse, very quirky , rustic feel and great use of space
-extras such as tea/coffee/sugar were left which was a nice touch
-Easy to park on residential street
- very sassy cat visited us everyday - one of the highlights of our trip 😽
Not a big deal, but could do with a bath mat as bathroom floor tiles were very slippy

Apartment was clean, spacious and location was great. Great bathroom, living room and TV area was relaxing and the beds were super comfy. There are also food places and a convenience store right around the corner.
Isn't close to the city centre, but there are several transport options if you don't have a car, including the train at the nearby Hall Green Station.

Lovely flat, much bigger than I thought. My teen son loved it and the location. Feels very secluded. Facilities great. Comfy beds. Cute dog and cat next door. Loved the shops nearby too. Really nice and would be great to return. Clean and welcoming

An awful experience all round
Access to the property was via a gate and metal, fire escape style staircase which appeared unsafe. It is dark, unswept or maintained and is shared. There is a very large dog in the property next door which jumped and tried to bite my husband.
The property was in very poor condition - it was not useable. Whilst there were a number of cosmetic issues such as burn marks on the kitchen worktops, holes in the walls, there were material hygiene and safety issues that made the accommodation unfit for purpose.
The accommodation was filthy:
1. The Cooker hob was covered in grease and dirt;
2. Oven caked in grease including the baking sheet/pan provided;
3. Toaster and kettle were both stainless steel but had grease and foodstuffs stuck and running down them;
4. Pots and pans for use were blackened and sticky with grease, there was still food and others caked on;
5. Floor was sticky, there had been spillages and it had not been mopped;
6. Sofa was black at the arms and cushions stained with unknown spills, there were crumbs, old tissues and others down the cushions - further it was broken;
7. Furniture such as the tv unit thick with dust;
8. Skirtings also marked, filthy and covered dust and grime.
Safety:
9. Accommodation was on first floor and above but the windows opened fully into the street without any barriers; and
10. No smoke or Co2 alarms were seen nor was there evidence of any PAT testing.
The property was not capable of being used as a holiday let. I contacted the host immediately online reporting the issue (photos provided to host) and asking for a call. The issues were so severe that we could not stay in the apartment and so advised the host that we had left and were seeking refund given the property was unfit. This was refused and booking.com did not resolve either. I had to initiate credit card claim. Also had to pay through the nose for last minute accommodation.

The area was quiet, you can park for free in the street.
We were disappointed by the lack of basic amenities. There were no towels, no shower gel, barely enough handwash, no salt, etc. The flat wasn't super clean either, and it was quite dusty in various areas. The frying pans were all overly scratched and unusable. The pillows were not very comfortable either.
The communication has been a bit difficult as well as the phone number indicated in the listing was disconnected, and the address indicated when redirected to Google Maps from Booking was incorrect...

Complete house for a reasonable price to stay not far away from the shopping centres.
Location was good, just 5 to 8 min drive from all my locations.

I liked the big mirror the hubby liked the holes in the kitchen it was very posh for us but it was a beautiful place it was also easy to find

the property was spacious, comfortable and cosy. Despite what other reviews have stated, the stairs leading up to the apartment were safe, even in the snow. The owner is lovely and helpful and deposit was returned promptly. Enjoyed our stay.
Could’ve done with a couple more mugs as the tea cups were quite small and only one larger mug that we could find but other than that, everything was great!

Do not come here, we were scammed of our money. Not worth it
We have been scammed out of our money. they have not returned our deposit of £100 and have been ignoring our and booking.com‘s calls. We left the place in immaculate condition and tidied up the flat. We even did the beds and washed the dishes we used. The stay was fine and she picked up when we needed help with the lockbox, but after that she has been ignoring us. Awful experience.

The layout was really usual and fun. There was plenty of room for our children to play.
It was fairly clean, the beds didn't smell fresh. There were a few things we would have found useful, brush and dustpan, hooks or towel rail in the bathroom. Lighting was very flickery.

It was disappointing...
The bathroom was good, the shower was great.
The Wi-Fi was terrible, we had to use our mobile data instead.
There were lots of spiderwebs around the place, the bathroom, the bedrooms and the living area.
I sent them a text message about the gas cooker not working and they ignore it! We didn’t plan to eat out during our stay, because my children don’t like eating out; so that’s why we booked this place in the first place- for the kitchen, so we would be able to cook.
If it was possible, l would like a refund for the facilities that weren't available as described. I had to make expenses, I didn't budget for.
(Preference only)- I wished they had more pillows, and a different style of bedding. The simple the better, but the bed was comfortable.

Kitchen was well stocked and bathroom looked lovely. Relatively spacious apartment. Super communication from the host. Lovely neighbours.
Entranceway was a bit smelly. Whole apartment was in need of some TLC from a decoration/construction perspective. Wasn't particularly clean which was a shame. Shower only seemed to do boiling hot or cold.

Disappointing
Did not realise the flat is on top of a takeaway,so it smells.The family who own flat live next door so access to flats is shared.The owner herself is rude and defensive not really willing to take any form of advice forget criticism. There was a leak in both bathroom and bedroom which was fixed on day three of stay (which was disappointing because her husband owns a construction company and could have been done earlier,with all their contacts,But owner denied all knowledge even tho from pictures you can see the carpet was damp and bedroom smelled like something had died in it)That’s it folks! as they say a picture paints a thousand words …sorry couldn’t bottle the stench lol I am pretty sure poppy will have a lot to say 🙄
