Apartment Beachfront Accommodation

Apartment was in an excellent location by the beach and half way between the old town and the harbour. It was very clean and well equipped too.

Only thing sometimes the neighbours were a bit noisy.

The location of the apartment is superb. Right on the beach front and midway between the Old Town and Harbour/ Marina. The nearest supermarket is to the left outside the main door and quite near. It stocks everything you could need. Good powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Supply of milk, wine, coffee capsules, tea, washing powder and a few dishwasher tablets. There was also toilet paper, paper towels and hand wash supplied. It was great to have a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. The air conditioning was most welcome. We also used the beach chairs, beach towels and umbrella that were provided. Great communication with Edyta who met us on arrival. She was very helpful and so nice.

The apartment has no direct light which we were aware of when booking. We didn't think that we would miss the light or a balcony to sit out on but in fact we did. We found it quite disconcerting not to know what the day outside was like until we went downstairs and outside. We do understand that this type of property is cooler but we really didn't care much for the lack of light. We did have problems with a power outage one morning. Once we turned the main power switch off in the fuse box and back on again the power was restored. We came to the conclusion that it was probably the 'Spanish System' not handling too many appliances at the same time? We were without a main light in the master bedroom and a safe to store our passports etc, for the first four days of our week long stay. The light did not matter much as we had two bedside lamps in the room. Edyta's husband did fix the light and he replaced the broken safe. We thought the position of the bed a bit mad in the master bedroom. It should be centered instead of one side being positioned up against a wall. There is the space to do this and would avoid having to climb over the other person and disturbing them to get out of the bed. We were also disturbed by noise of children running about overhead especially early in the mornings. And the air conditioning unit pipe coming into the building was very noisy outside the kitchen window. I am sensitive to noise so if you aren't it may not be a problem for you.

Apartamento en pleno paseo marítimo y céntrico de la ciudad, muy completo, con todo lo necesario para pasar la estancia. Zona de aparcamiento gratis en la calle paralela y también en la misma zona un parking de pago, alrededores supermercados, restaurantes, bares, ocio... Es interior, pero como pasábamos el tiempo justo de dormir y poco más, no ha sido un problema.
