Very disappointing experience – serious hygiene issues

Only the location

We booked this apartment for two nights but had to leave immediately after arrival due to the unacceptable condition of the property. The bathroom had visible mold in the shower corners and along the seals. There were hairs left around the sink and inside the shower area. The shower fixtures were dirty and covered in residue. The walls showed clear signs of moisture damage and peeling paint. The sofa had visible stains and crumbs on the surface. This was not a small imperfection – it was a clear lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. When we reported the issue, the host described these as “minor details that aren’t perfect,” which I find completely unacceptable. Mold and leftover hair from previous guests are not minor details – they are basic hygiene failures. There was also no apology, only an offer to send a cleaner hours later. After traveling, we expected a clean, ready-to-use apartment – not to wait for it to be cleaned to a basic standard. Despite these conditions, the property refused to issue a refund. We had no choice but to leave and arrange alternative accommodation. If cleanliness, basic hygiene, and professional handling of complaints matter to you, I strongly recommend reconsidering this property.

Central location very useful for me as I walked most places. Apartment was clean and tidy with everything I needed. Hostess was very helpful and getting the keys was easy.

Obligatory to send the photo of ID or passport before coming

The property management ask to send a copy of your ID or passport as that it is necessary to do the check-in, and threat that without this check-in will not be completed—even though I have already paid. I wanded to show it upon my arrival - without sending via internet however they refused.

Views was absolutely terrible, towels was hard and had no clean ones left in the apartment, no extra bedding to change or put on if you was cold . . No wardrobe no drawers. No welcome pack . No windows in the lounge so the apartment was really dark no tvs in the bedrooms.

if you don’t intend to stay in the apartment during the day then it’s a good option for accommodation

it’s position. very close to the old town and adjacent to the beach

it didn’t face the beach but rather the road so you could hear the traffic. the walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbors talking, taking a shower, the toilet. the bathroom sink and shower appear to be slightly blocked as it took ages for the water to drain. we expected there would be shampoo and conditioner for the shower. I would also recommend a goodwill gesture of having some tea/coffee in the apartment.

Superb

The apartment was a minute from the beach and across the way from the old town with all the restaurants and shops. I enjoy running and could just step out the door and run along the beach promenade and pathway. Taxi stop across the road as well. Double glazed windows and block out curtains makes for a good night's rest. Excellent value for money.

La ubicación, a metros de la playa y del casco antiguo de la ciudad

Menos que básico, mal mantenido (muebles en el dormitorio muuuuy básicos, sábanas que no eran sábanas sino telas cocidas, almohadas que no eran almohadas sino almohadones mal rellenos, de confección casera, ducha que acumulaba agua (drenaje tapado y con hongos), tapa del inodoro desarticulada/bisagra rota. Mala relación precio-calidad

Lokalizacja! zaledwie minuta do promenady! Wyposażenie też ok. parking bezpłatny bardzo blisko, ciche i nieuciążliwe sąsiedztwo

Stan techniczny apartamentu - okropny kamień na bateriach w łazience, odchodząca okleina z drzwi do łazienki. Telewizor bez smart tv, co czasem by się przydało. Klimatyzacja nie działała, z tego powodu trzeba było spać z uchylonymi oknami - tu UWAGA!!! na przeciwko znajdują się kontenery na śmieci i około północy straszny huk śmieciarki, która je zabierała. Ogólnie okna dobrze wygłuszały ale jako że mieszkanie jest jednostronne, a klima nie chodziła, ciężko było wytrzymać z zamkniętymi oknami.

Muchos inconvenientes a la hora de entrar en el apartamento.

La situación del apartamento aunque no fue lo que se indicaba en un principio en la reserva.

Error en el checking, eran las 16 h. de la tarde y aun la habitación estaba sin limpiar. Nuestra habitación por error se la dieron a otra pareja, con lo cual nuestro código para entrar en la habitación ya no funcionaba. Y lo más increíble es, cuando ves la situación del alojamiento en Booking te reenvía a una dirección diferente a la que te indican cuando ya has reservado... Menos mal que en Estepona todo está cerca y es muy bonito...

Pas vraiment recommandable

La pièce de vie (salon,s.à.m.,cuisine) est extrêmement sombre.Utilisation de la lumière artificielle en permanence. Une seule petite fenêtre, pratiquement inatteignable, donnant sur la cage d'escalier!!!! Impossible d'aérer cette pièce.

Apartamento bien situado y agradable.

El apartamento era muy agradable aunque el salón era un poco oscuro al estar las ventanas en los dormitorios. la persona que nos recibió era encantadora y nos ayudó a encontrar la casa sin problemas. El apartamento estaba limpísimo y muy ordenado.

Nos encontramos las camas hechas con edredones de invierno, funda de edredón, sin sábana encimera y cubre colchón de invierno con guateadlo de fibra (super caliente); hubo que usar la funda como sábana. Estuvimos dos semanas en junio y no había sábanas para cambiar las sábanas, y tras una semana de mucho calor y cubre colchón súper caliente, había que cambiar las sábanas. Lavándolas por la mañana no estaban secas por la noche, por ello tuve que comprar sábanas y toallas para cambiar. El apartamento, bien equipado, no tiene tostador, pero si no desayunas pan tostado no es un gran problema. Alguna información sobre la zona, folletos informativos de actividades, restaurantes y sitios para visitar hubieran estado bien.

Ubicación y piso con todo lo necesario

El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario. Un aire acondicionado que llega prácticamente a todo el piso. La ubicación buenísima, la playa a un minuto de distancia y toda la avenida llena de restaurantes. Hay un parking a 5 minutos que vale 1-2€ al día. Y la propietaria muy simpática y nos ayudó en todo momento. Si vuelvo sin duda intentaré reservarlo de nuevo. Un primero con ascensor y con acceso para personas de movilidad reducida.

Einfach tolle Lage mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Insbesondere die Lage. Das Apartment befindet sich direkt an der Strandpromenade, leider -wie beschrieben- nicht mit Meerblick, sondern zur abgewandten Seite. Direkt unter dem Gebäude befindet sich eine Tiefgarage. Dort kann man sich für 60,-- € pro Woche einen Stellplatz mieten. Die Altstadt mit zahlreichen Gastronomieangeboten und Geschäften (Fußgängerzone) ist innerhalb von zwei Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Im Apartment selbst war wirklich alles für einen längeren Aufenthalt vorhanden.

Das gerade Straßenbauarbeiten direkt unter dem Apartment durchgeführt wurden. Ein Stromgenerator bollerte die ganze Nacht, war allerdings bei geschlossenen Fenster nur für sensible Personen wahrnehmbar. Die Arbeiten sollen in Kürze abgeschlossen sein.
