This was the best accommodation we had in our 5 week trip to Northern Italy. The location was perfect - a short walk from the historic town centre, in a quiet, residential area. There was a small supermarket nearby, a park we walked through to reach the centre, museums, restaurants and more close by. We walked to the apartment from the train station. The apartment was recently renovated in a thoughtful manner with features designed for travellers with suitcases. Some places we stayed had nowhere you could put luggage, but here, there were convenient spaces, as well as new wardrobes and drawers. The kitchen was well appointed, with nice cutlery, glassware, crockery etc. Good heating, bathroom and more. Everything was really clean. Our host met us to hand over the keys. She was really lovely and spent considerable time with us showing us the apartment, talking about the building and the renovation, the town, amenities nearby, places to visit. She had business cards from a number of restaurants and cafes in the town centre, and talked to us about the food, pricing etc. We had a couple of lovely meals as a result. We would certainly stay here again if we visit Mantua in the future.

Das Appartement ist wunderschön mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet! Ruhige Lage, nettes Café um die Ecke. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Mantova sehr genossen. Eine wunderschöne Stadt und eine perfekte Unterkunft.
