Location is excellent for sight seeing. Very clean apartment with large bathroom which includes shower and separate bath. Any Communication with owner was answered quickly.
Don’t let it put you off, but like other reviews, the noise at night and the stairs up to the apartment

Great location in Central Mantova, with great cafés and restaurants nearby. Very good bookshops, fashion shops, especially shoes for colder weather. The Palazzo Ducal Museum is an amazing, enormous place to visit and should not be missed. We loved it all. The lakes are enormous, and it's unfortunate it rained a lot while we were there… in bright sunshine I'm sure this is a transcendent destination.
Outside our 2nd floor window there is a late night 'bar' of some kind, attracting loud patrons who kept up the racket every night till 1 am (one am), and it was hard to sleep or have any feeling of peace. We gathered these are migrant boys, which is such a pity after they have come so far in search of their fortune.
Also… several lights did not work, I presume the bulbs are blown. It's hard to cook well on a darkened stove.
