Local vibe apt

Super nice apt with the local vibe! Large and spacious. Everything was well managed. Just for parents with small kids: can be noisy during the night in the living room, bedrooms are ok (better windows) + steep staircase into the flat.

Three beds, but not equal

Vèry nice hosting family. Fair value. Great location to enjoy historic sites and good restaurants.

Apartment is traditional family housing, so one master bedroom with en suite, one small bdrm and a living room partitioned with a shielded but not private bed. A small, common bathroom serves as the bathroom for those not in the master suite. I booked for two adult friends. One had a great experience and the other felt like he was a child in a home. Not a good experience. The hotels.com description was not clear enough for me to realize this was the wrong location for us.

Beautiful large apartment right in the center of Mantova

We loved the location right in the center of Mantova. The apartment was very big and modern. We also liked how we could easily enter with a code and we didn't have to arrange a time to meet with the property manager. We were driving by car in Italy so this allowed us to take our time and arrive whenever we wanted after 3pm. The property manager/owner told us where we could park (Parcheggio Mazzini) but we ended up parking in a blue space. Keep in mind you have to pay for parking in blue spaces on Sunday in Mantova. (In Rome we didn't have to pay on Sunday). In any case, we loved our stay in Casa Iolanda!

Very nice appartment in the heart of town, very friendly host who had everything prepared and wrote detailed information beforehand. Everything clean and even good Wi-Fi.

On Friday and Saturday night, there were lots of people chatting in the street below, so there was some noise for the people sleeping in the living room. Everything else was just perfect.

A real gem of a find

The property is huge! A real home from home which was fantastic for us staying with our 3 little ones. The air conditioning was fantastic and a real life saver in some serious heat! the beds were very comfortable and Luca was wonderful - leaving us milk and juice for the little ones made us feel very welcomed - could not recommend this lovely place enough! the location is also incredible - right in the middle of everything!

Perfect design right in the old city of beautiful Mantova

This must be one of the most spectacularly designed holiday apartments I have ever stayed in. It is a huge apartment on the first floor of an old building right in the center of the old city of Mantova - spacious rooms, wooden floors, high ceilings (at least four meters). It has all been refurbished with a distinctively modern approach and I guess there is not a single corner that has not been thought about - the colours, the materials, the furniture, it all blends perfectly together. The master bathroom in the large bedroom stands out as a particular beauty. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is excellently equipped, everything is new and impeccably clean. Luca, the owner, is on site, very friendly and reliable. I recommend this place highly. The apartment has every comfort: dishwasher, washing machine, large TV, air condition. We loved our stay.

This is not a criticism (I don't have any), but a pointer for people who are sensitive to noise: Be aware of the fact that the apartment is located in a very busy street in the old city. It is a pedestrian zone, so there are no cars, but people will walk by talking and laughing way past midnight, and since the apartment is on the first floor, you cannot escape the noise they make. There are bars nearby and there is some sort of automaton café vis-a-vis, with vending machines giving out drinks 24/7. If you are part of the crowd enjoying the Italian summer nightlife, great. If you want to sleep instead, you will probably have to sleep with windows closed and the air condition on (which is quite noisy itself, however, as it is indoors). Again, this is not anything that is wrong with the place, it may just be an important piece of information for some.

Exceptional

Wide apartment with facilities of any kind. Kitchen with owen, dishwasher and washing machine. Everything fit for your family lunch and dinner. Food store right around the corner. 5 minutes walking to the center "Piazza delle Erbe" and 10 minutes to "Palazzo Ducale". Bus every 10 minutes to "Palazzo Te" or 15 minutes by walking. Everything is by hand. Impressive the soundproof of the bedrooms even though the street down is quite busy. Street food is down the stairs, available as well. Thanks to Luca, Owner of the flat for the good tips given on “Spritz” and good restaurants.

Beatifully located, in the charme of the town center, wide and peaceful flat

During the day, you are in the very center of Mantova, beatiful palaces and views of canals at times in between them. At dinner all the noise disappears and you sleep a wonderful night. Nice wide rooms, a beautiful giant castle of wood in one, pretty and functional kitchen. The bed we used was particularly good for sleeping a calm undisturbed night.

Nothing specific, I was worried about traffic restriction in Mantua but now think this was properly solved by the owner who advised to buy through the hotel a one day pass for the car in the whole town

The property was clean and centric with plenty of space, good breakfast and ideal for a small family or group of friends since it’s very well located! Staff was nice and responsive! Nicely designed...

Unfortunately the beds were not super comfortable (the mattress were single mattresses next to each other and they were pretty basic quality), the shower in the master bedroom is very nice but the water temperature was not hot as it should be...a lot of potential though

Séjour dont nous gardons un beau souvenir

Situation exceptionnelle Vieille Ville historique. Hôte Luca aimable, attentif et réactif. Propreté de l´appartement. Très bonne literie. Clim. Insonorisation des chambres. Proximité tous commerces. Machine à café et café. Marché le jeudi et le samedi. Recommandé pour ambiance joviale, typiquement italienne, rue très animée ( journée soirée) mais peu de circulation de voitures. Café en bas de la maison, rue passante, gens qui sifflottent, chantent dans la rue.... Très vivant. Viva Italia!

Nous aurions apprécié: une garde-robe dans l´entrée pour poser vêtements et chaussures + meubles rangement dans les chambres. Un équipement cuisine plus complet. Une décoration plus chaleureuse. Les murs sont nus sauf dans la cuisine. Cela donne un petit air tristounet. Convient plutôt pour séjour court, non recommandé pour personnes sensibles au bruit, rue très animée nuit et jour

Appartement spacieux au coeur de Mantoue

Appartement très bien situé au coeur de Mantoue. Beaucoup d'espace notamment une belle cuisine parfait pour des moments de convivialité. Les pièces sont chaleureuses avec une décoration sobre. L'hote a le sens du service, est disponible et réactif.

Les climatisations sont un peu bruyantes. La télévision mériterait d'être changée (une plus moderne pour une meilleure connectivité).

Apartamento super céntrico; según sales a la derecha y a 10 min. andando, está el Palacio Ducal y las dos iglesias más importantes para visitar y a la izquierda, a 5 mins caminado, para un bus que te lleva al Palacio Te de forma gratuita. Todo estaba muy limpio, los dos baños muy nuevos y reformados de forma muy bonita. Las camas muy cómodas y las habitaciones son muy amplias. El salón y la cocina muy amplios y todo muy limpio. Había cafetera y nos dejaron el café de los días que estuvimos. Volvería a este apartamento sin dudarlo. El propietario, aunque no lo vimos respondía a cualquier necesidad que teníamos por wasup y de forma muy rápida. Cerca del apartamento hay un parking y nos dejaron vales con el 15% de descuento que también se agradece mucho.

por decir algo pues algún menaje más de cocina, estaba bastante completo pero quise hacer una ensalada y no tuve donde y para ser Italia y cocer una pasta, que para eso las tienen tan ricas, pues que pongan un utensilio de servir pasta, esa paleta que no se como se llama. Lo demás estaba perfecto. Decir que a la entrada tienen unas escaleras muy empinadas pero han colocado una silla eléctrica que es de mucha ayuda para gente con alguna dificultad.
