Basic family room but was comfortable and a stone throw from the stadium.
We stayed here with two children after a stadium tour etc. It’s basic but met our needs, and was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly too.
Just the guests in the room above us jumping about their room early hours in the morning but apart from that everything was good.

Amazing! Convenient and supoortive host!
The room had the anfield stadium view from the window, just what we wanted, near to bus stops, so no long walks, and free parking. Not to mention it’s very budget friendly, and James, the host was extremely gracious and helpful. It has a perch to sit around and enjoy the view and with kitchen which helps a lot! Will go back and stay there again!

Kop View, Avoid 100%
Absolutely nothing about this booking. Booked for the Kop View on arrival was told the booking was elsewhere, literally behind the old Everton FC, so if you are a Liverpool FC fan beware your view is not of the Kop but of backstreet rundown area.
Booking was changed to alternative address upon arrival. Had to take the cleaners as passengers in our car to make the beds. The property offered was a house of multiple occupancy although empty.
First of all the Central heating didn't work neither did the WiFi. There was a kitchen but no tea, coffee milk etc. The booking advertised Breakfast Included, nothing was included, had to find a local Wetherspoons for breakfast.
The bed was a hard sprung mattress, had to sleep on top of the bed with an additional duvet as it didn't look clean. Bathroom door wouldn't close or lock, sink was minute, no curtains or blinds in the room.
The property was next door to a food takeaway with someone upstairs playing loud music until 1am. Personal belongings, clothes, mail, etc was left all around the property.
As for a view of the Kop, you got a back yard with barbed wire around. Parking was on the street and not for anyone, it was pot luck if you get a space. The whole area felt uncomfortable and dangerous, sorry to the folks of Everton, but if your going for a stag night and don't care, then this is ok, but for a married couple, absolutely not.
Seriously I don't normally do reviews but I would advise TOTALLY AVOID.
Took over 2 months of complaining to Booking.com to get 50% refund.

Worst Hotel Experience – Unsafe, Unhygienic, and Zero Hospitality
I had a terrible experience staying at Kop View Hotel, and this was my first trip to Liverpool. I booked this property only because it was close to Anfield Stadium and convenient for attending the match — but it turned out to be the worst decision.
We stayed for 5 nights, and from the very first night, it became a nightmare. Around 3:30 AM, we were woken up by strange cracking sounds. When we turned on the light, we discovered a mouse eating our bread in the room. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable for any accommodation, let alone a property that calls itself a “hotel.”
We immediately messaged the property through Booking.com, but no one was at the hotel and nobody responded. We had to pack our bags in the middle of the night and leave the room out of fear and disgust.
When I called the emergency number listed, a lady named D answered and shockingly made jokes about the situation — saying things like “Oh no, the mouse shared your breakfast” and asking if we were “afraid of a mouse.” This was completely unprofessional and dismissive. No guest should ever be made fun of for reporting a safety and hygiene issue.
We were eventually given another room without a mouse, but the issues did not end there.
For the remaining 4 nights, the experience continued to be unacceptable:
No housekeeping at all — bed sheets never changed, trash bins never emptied
Room remained dirty throughout our stay
Shower handle broken and leaking
Dustbins overflowing in common areas
Hotel staff kept replying in the Booking.com chat saying “James is at the property and will look into it” — but we never saw this James, and nothing was ever fixed
This property claims to be a 3-star hotel, but in reality, it is far below basic hostel standards. The level of cleanliness, safety, and customer service is shocking.
Please avoid this place. There are many other hotels near the stadium, and I regret not choosing one of them.

Perfect location, great value for money, friendly hosts
The property was absolutely perfect for visiting Anfield. It is a couple of minutes walk. The hosts were also very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. I would highly recommend and would stay again.

There was a very cold draft coming from the bottom of the window which made the room very cold at night, the mattress wasn’t the comfiest I’ve slept in, the shower didn’t work, 3 plugs out of 5 weren’t working, we could t get the radiator to turn on up until the last night as there was expanding foam all over the property I.e behind the radiator and in the bathroom.
If your staying for 1 night then it’s just for a bed but the property needs a lot of TLC if your staying for longer.

Location and price , bed was comfy , the bedroom and bathroom were clean (apart from shower) bedding was clean , parking was available , staff were very friendly and I would stay again, if the hallway and stairs were tidied up it would be a great place
The hallway and stairs needed revamping , but it looked like it was underway , the reception area had stuff dumped behind the desk, first impression of the place was ruined and I immediately thought it would be terrible , shower had a lot of black mould in it so I didn’t use it .

Close to anfield stadium, buses also run regularly to city centre. Big room with a view of anfield.
We were in room 7 next to the kitchen, we couldn’t find it at first. Most night there would be people coming and going at all hours and banging the door therefore leading to disturbed sleep.

the Kop view was dirty. the room was like a hostel . no reception no cleaning no towel on arrival no overnight security front door open all night both nights and bears no resemblance to the photos on your platform walls were not painted I'd say for years and the room we allocated was especially dangerous and i don't know how they got to advertise on booking. Location was perfect for what we needed. Good value for money. Accommodating staff, who arranged an early check in for us. Communication was particularly good from the staff here, both before and after our stay.
Only a couple of little things... The TV lead was not long enough to be plugged in, but we weren't overly bothered about this.
The breakfast was advertised but didn't say before booking that it was a communal kitchen to make yourself, again this wasn't an issue for us and didn't lessen our stay in any way.

Close to Anfield.
No handrail at the front steps. No where to store luggage or to put clothes. No one there at breakfast when was told there would be. People in opposite room from us, we’re out and in all night, smoking cannabis, doors banging till at least 0230. No pull string on blinds, had to stand on bed to open and close them, window also.

Great location to Anfield for Liverpool fans although not a lot around to eat.
The guesthouse should be closed down. No towels as advertised, called staff and were told they would drop some off, but never arrived. Electric sockets hanging off wall. Room door had been vandalised and was not shutting properly. We had to jam a bed against the door overnight for security. Broken bathroom floor tiles. The 'included breakfast' was some bread left in kitchen to make your own toast. We didn't see a single member of staff during our stay which we cut short as we couldn't bear to stay there another night.

The rooms need updating, holes in the walls made it feel scruffy and it needs extra attention to cleaning and dusting! The room was extremely noisy at night sounded like a water tank was in our room it kept me awake! Also there needs to be curtains or at least blinds that work as there was too much daylight coming into the room in the morning! The kitchen was a complete mess most of our stay and i didnt feel comfortable using the facilities there! Which is ashame but assume it was other guests not cleaning after themselves! Its such ashame as this property could be absolutely top notch if some effort went in to updating it! But still enjoyed our stay!

The room was filthy, There were human fluid stains on the sheet and mattress. We left and did not stay We told the manager the place was unacceptable and we do expect our money back. There were no staff on site and we felt unable to get any resolution to our concerns

The location is ideal as is a stones throw from Anfield Stadium, we were happy and very comfortable, clean bedding and towels, well stocked kitchen for breakfast, nice little outdoor seating area (could have done with having cushions) but certainly didn’t stop us using it. The building is an old building and the owners have done what they could with it, it’s a tad rough and tired round the edges but absolute value for money, if you want the ritz then go and pay for that, this served its purpose perfectly for us. The directions given and key access worked perfectly.
It’s a little tired in places but is an old building and clearly well used.
