We really enjoyed are stay at the Liverpool Inn, it was in a great location for centre just a 2 min walk. Bed was comfortable and room clean. Has endless coffee free from the hotel. And staff were lovely, nothing too much trouble. Only 2 mins from Liverpool Lime station.would definitely return again if visiting Liverpool

I booked the hotel, looked good on paper and was happy with the amount however when i arrived there was no one available to let us in, we waiting in the cold for over 1 hour, knocked and called the number on the door, no one answered i called bookings who i booked with and they could not even get a response so we left and booked in the Adelphi hotel.
No one available to give us a keyy and check us in, it was cold with no response, i didn't have the opportunity to experience the hotel. in the end i had to leave and get alternative accommodation

The location was great and the hotel was very nice and clean well looked after.
The staff all seemed nice and made us feel welcome
The coffee/ tea station needed to have its own table and not on the bedside table also more choice drinking chocolate would have been nice. Wasn’t sure where to get replacements. This is only a suggestion and not a criticism.

Location
Problematic arrival, hotel didn’t have record of booking & had to wait 15 minutes to gain entry to check-in due to no staff answering door or phone initially.

It's very central
Hard too find.. it's a random doorway between two shops. Old fashioned keys to get into your room and a key safe that has a code of your door number... bit easy to crack if you ask me. Our room (room 3) had an air conditioning unit on the wall outside that made a constant fairly loud humming noise all the time despite the fact our room didn't seem to have air conditioning! Extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom either. We were tired so the noise didn't keep us awake but light sleepers beware. Car park is public a few minutes away and was £12 a day, very reasonable. Walked to the docks, cathedral etc. with no issues, lots of lively pubs bars and restaurants nearby.

Excellent location, friendly staff, big beds and super clean room - perfect base to explore Liverpool. The Beatles-themed photos around the hotel and in the rooms are a nice touch!
Perhaps the mattresses could be improved - they were fine for a couple of nights though and would gladly return :)

How close it was to the Liverpool empire
The overall noise through the night was really bad. I'd suggest double glazing immediately to keep the noise levels down inside the room. In the bathroom was a live wire just cut off near the mirror and exposed . This had tried to be hidden with a piece of toilet paper stuffed in. Very dangerous ! And the rooms bin had things growing on it. Definitely needs a change . The television signal was extremely poor and very glitchy and un watchable. 😢

AVOID!
We paid £360 for 2 nights (1 room, 3 adults). The location is central and the receptionist was understanding when we arrived late, but the room’s condition was far below what I would expect for this price.
The room was very small (which I could accept) and there was noticeable street noise (understandable for the area), but the cleanliness and upkeep were unacceptable in my opinion. The carpet had a strong, unpleasant smell, the beds and bedding appeared worn, and the bedsheets did not look freshly changed. I noticed visible stains on the walls, and the overall feel of the room made it uncomfortable for us to stay. No slippers were provided.
Although this property is listed online as 4 stars, I personally would rate it much lower based on my stay. We decided to check out a day early because we felt the room was not at a decent hygiene standard for us. When I mentioned this at reception, the response was simply “OK.”
For anyone who values cleanliness and comfort, I would recommend avoiding this hotel.

Location .
The room was very small and it was located in the duct area . Moreover, we were not able to open the windows for ventilation because there was a massive noise coming out from the duct and machines were cranking all the night . Really bad experience.

The location, although it threw us alittle as was expecting to see a hotel but it’s just a door!
Passed it a few times 🫣😄
I liked that there is some one on the reception all the time.
It was clean and a good price.
The layout of the room..
Made it a bit difficult to get ready.
There was a full length mirror on the wall but in the wrong place, the bed was covering it.
Not good for trying to dry your hair, put make up on, get dressed ect.

Excellent location for walking round the city, good price point for a Saturday night, staff were so friendly and attentive. The room itself was clean and roomy with tea and coffee, biscuits, an iron, hair dryer and TV.

Location is great.
The heat was crazy. No fans or air conditioning and the windows only slightly open. Nearly suffocated.

The hotel is in a great location for the city centre of Liverpool. The hotel doesn't look great from the outside, but it's fine inside. It met all our requirements for an overnight stay. Dave, who works there, was really helpful and chatty. I would definitely stay there again!
The room we had was quite compact but nevertheless it was comfortable.

Didn’t have breakfast
Stairs, noise from other guests just outside our door.
Could hear and feel footsteps in our room making the glasses rattle on our beside.
Couldn't leave our bags as they were locking up early on this particular day and couldn’t guarantee they would be open when we came back to collect. So we had to check out early ( due to a tour we had booked) and pay storage at the train station. ( we checked the website and it was meant to be a available option )

The facilities were perfect for our group, a comfortable sleep for an overnight stay to attend a concert. It was good to be able to get a drink at the small bar in reception on our return. The ensuite was fine with a good shower.
There were no towels on our arrival, but this was quickly rectified when reported at reception.
