Was very happy with the upgraded room and the staff were very friendly and went the extra mile carrying my suitcase to the top floor for me.
No breakfast available.

The hospitality was great, kind staff and cosy well decorated rooms. Loved the Picture of John Lennon in our room. Loved how the hotel has an entrance right in the back of the pub below it.
Those stairs, those stairs!!!!! But they were worth it.

The property was very central and just perfect for my short stay
Would have liked a hairdryer in the room but I didn’t ask if one was available and it wouldn’t put me off staying again.

Funnily enough, a very central location. The room was fine, but nothing special. It was exceptionally cheap.
Beds were not very comfortable.

A good hotel in a very central location, all the staff were very friendly, the room was a bit dated but a great size and very comfortable king sized bed, considering it was above a pub it was very quiet, the only down side was no lift but that is not a problem if you are good with stairs, I would stay here again as its location is excellent and the room very comfortable

Position was absloutely amazing, staff was nice, room was silent and comfy, they provided free water bottles, tea and biscuits.
One of the two shower towel was not well cleaned (but I was travelling alone, so not a big problem for me).

The location was nice and central.
Bit noisy for my liking with the bars being downstairs.

Plenty of tea and coffee
The NOISE. I have capitalised the word noise, as I didn't read this in any of the reviews! I was notified that the hotel was located above a pub, once my cancelation period had expired (probably just a coincidence), and I can assure you, it was noisy. And then more noise, I believe the bins, barrels, bottles etc started to be emptied, changed, restocked around 3 or 4am, this continued until I decided to take a slow walk to the weatherspoons for an early breakfast (0800hrs).

The location and staff are great
There’s no lift and if like us you’re on the 3rd floor you can struggle to take your cases up the stairs. They’re very narrow staircases.
Also the noise can be on until 2-3am with it being close to bars (which didn’t bother us)

Price, location, staff.
Tiny room, no window, very claustrophobic. Had to open door and stand in corridor for a bit in the early hours to get air. Only two of us in the room, no idea how more people would manage.

Really friendly and helpful staff and great location when visiting Liverpool.
We were prewarned from the property about the noise until 2am, however I underestimated how loud it would be! The 17 year old slept perfectly, however us adults struggled! I think not having a window in the bedroom or bathroom made it feel a bit more intense.

Great central location for getting around the city.
Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.
Nothing we didn’t like. It’s basically rooms above a pub, but they’re clean and comfortable and ideal for a city break.

Good value for money and great central location. Plenty of tea bags and biscuits. Access to bar below. Didnt hear much late noise as some reviews have said.
Room was hot. Air con didn’t seem to work well. Bed was not most comfortable and squeaky. No lift.

Room big, had a couch. Bed great. Clean enough. Had kettle. Plenty of room for our bags. Location good if you like staying up till 3am every night. Bathroom great, good size.
Only one bedside table. Window covering not really adequate. Very noisy room with pubs etc in neighbourhood. Loud music every night till 3am. Had to climb 3 flights with suitcases. Very steep stairs so would not suit old people.

Convenient location and friendly staff. They were able to store our luggage for us so that we could explore the city during our final day. Nice room and bathroom.
The stairs are a bit of a challenge if you have heavy suitcases.

The location was ideal, just a short walk from the train station. Lovely staff.
The stairs. It was ok for us, but if you find a few flights of stairs a challenge I would ask for a room on the lower floor.

Very very noisy, and not clean

All of the staff were super super friendly, I loved them!
Good location, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, quiet past a certain time (it's city center on a weekend, not the hotels fault, just bare this in mind, pretty obvious with the Irish bar next door)
Easy access.
Lots and lots of stairs after a few drinks, BUT this was our problem booking a certain room - the hotel is surrounded by other businesses so they have what they have. Worth it!

Very friendly staff. I loved the room and the lighting and decorations. Coffee machine was great too and shower was really good.
You're in the party quarter and it is loud. Just something to be aware of (which I was). I used my headphones and had an excellent sleep

It was out of the rain
£263 for 1 night in a room direcly over a bar, the music of which could drown out a moon rocket launch was the worst value for money i have ever experienced, we found screwed up tissues under bed, the street entrance at ground level which then led to extremely steep stairs, late night door access did not work remotely, crowds of very drunk people shouting on the street through the night
9.0 / 10.0
I loved the location. Right in the middle of town. The room was clean and had everything I needed
The smell was a bit strange but i think that might be because the hotel is above a pub. Little noisy till 1am but then was ok.

Just opposite to the Liverpool Central Station, 5-minute walk to Lime Street Station, 10-minute walk to the coach station.
Even though my room has no windows, it has air-conditioning to make up for it.
Very comfortable bed.
Every amenities expected of a typical hotel room are provided; plus two bottled gas distilled water and ample of coffee powder and tea bags.
Very friendly reception staff.
No safe inside the room
The hotel only occupies the first floor of a building; and on the ground floor there is a pub which has live music played as late as 2 am. So if you are noise-sensitive; please ask the reception for ear plugs for free. (The noise however, was not so loud inside my room).
