It was so close to all the shops and the staff were helpful we had a problem with our TV and they changed rooms they did explain about the noise from the night club which they have tried to resolve without any luck.but we did hear it but did not bother us and we slept well and the breakfast was good excellent value for the money

Fab, great place to stay for a night out in Liverpool

Brilliant location, right in the centre and only a few minutes walk from the train station. I had read some reviews saying it was noisy. We were allocated a room at the back which overlooked a small courtyard and it was very quiet. It was a Saturday night so it was buzzing outside. My other half really enjoyed the breakfast too. I can highly recommend this hotel.

The location was ideal for us and was close to the places we're going to.

Room 7 was alright apart from the creaking floor near rhe beds.Breakfast was okay but had to wait 15 minutes and two cups of coffee before someone came for our order,apparently there is a bell to get attention.

My room was directly overlooking a very loud dance pub. Doof doof started around 10pm and finished around 3am. Despite double glazing there was no escaping the continuous noise. The prospect of this noisy neighbor was stated on signs at reception. Ok. But why was I (the ‘Booking’ guest) placed in the worst room? I’ve used some pretty unusual TVs in my travels and this was right up there. On channel selection the remote control allowed only up/down to search through over 100 ‘channels’. The problem is that once landing on one and then scrolling up, the next 6 or 7 channels were the same. Can someone in charge simply program it properly?

If you want to sleep, maybe consider somewhere else.

The hotel is well located being in easy reach of train stations, shops, the docks, the cathedrals. The breakfast was really good, perfect amount, and served by a really friendly member of staff.

The description of the hotel mentions that "there is a nightclub very close to the hotel, and that there may therefore be noise at night". I figured we'd be able to hear some noise, but I didn't expect it to sound like the DJ was in the room next to me. The rooms facing Fleet Street, and therefore the Motel nightclub, will experience this. The nightclub is open Thurs-Sun nights, and plays extremely loud music until 4am (3am on Sundays). The windows of the hotel are not adequate, given the proximity to the nightclub, and I only slept once the music stopped. Maybe, if you can't change the windows, could you provide earplugs? I would also mention the wood that is rotting around the base of the shower, the ill-fitting toilet seat and the lack of a hairdryer. For £112.70 per night, I would expect better.

This stay was all about location and price, it matched our expectations and was just what we needed.

the location was awesome and everything walkable so when your having drinks, your not far. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The staff was nice , and the breakfast was a large serving. This stop was all about price for us, basically a place to lay our. heads quickly before we headed out. The price matched our expectations.

Just know that the parking may be challenging , and that the noise is in a very heavily trafficked area for partiers. We knew this as the establishment , so we didn't feel suprised at all. Bring earbuds. There is no elevator , so your bags will be lugged up stairs that are a bit narrow.

I thought the hotel was very good value for the money great location. loved the mccartneys bar.. There was a big group of us 23.and there wasnt any issues . On the sat morning 31st we had a lady serving breakfast i believe her name was Claire..she was very bubbly.smiling and chatting to us .nothing was too much trouble..and she deserves a mention

Location was perfect. Breakfast included in stay which was exceptional. Staff and there helpfulness was faultless.

Obviously the price was increased due to the event we were attending (sale & demand) so the room rate was increased compared to there normal rate. Still, compared to what other hotels were charging it wasn’t unreasonable.
