Gem of a house in a magical setting ❤️

House was nice and comfortable. Location was brilliant mountain and forest walks just behind. Good set up for children as there was a football table. Lovely bed linen and duvets. Nicely maintained, decorated and clean. Very central location to facilities and the outdoors.

House was a bit drafty and cold at times although we had very cold weather for our stay. Front door could do with work/draught excluder as let's in a lot of cold air. Some rooms had thermo heating control and some didn't therfore some bedrooms were a bit cold. The oven door didn't latch properly.

Excellent holiday home and would not hesitate to revisit.

Great secluded location with clear directions from host, although might be difficult to locate if not familiar with area and travelling at night. Communication with host was good. The property was warm and comfortable throughout our stay with no need to adjust heating. Everything we needed was available. The Football table was great for not only the younger kids, but the older ones too. Ideal base for walking and trekking in local area. Local towns of Rostrevor and Warrenpoint short drive away giving access to meet all needs.

Being very picky, bedroom above split level bedroom lacks sound proofing!! At times the wifi was a little glitchy and so impacted connectivity to Tv and internet services but overall was not a serious issue. The weather was awful so could not enjoy outdoor space fully, but that just gives an excuse to revisit sometime in future.

Absolutely wonderful!

The house was exceptional. Lovely and warm (underfloor heating) so the baby and toddler in our party could play comfortably on the floor. There was loads of space and the house was wonderfully equipped. We celebrated my son’s 40th birthday as well as New Year during our 5 night stay. The large kitchen was really well equipped so we were able to cook meals for the 7 adults and two babies with ease….. and there was a super big table that we could all sit around comfortably. The house is very remote with lovely views, however there is a path right outside the back of the house for lovely walks etc in the Mourne mountains. We also walked into Rostrevor along this path.. 3 miles … which took about one hour. It was a beautiful walk. We would not hesitate to return to Yellow water cottage, and think this would be a fantastic base for a summer vacation.

The outside appearance not does reflect what a lovely house this is.

Great for a get together

The space of the house was fantastic for a groip of friends. Had great fun with the fussball table. The fire was great too making the living room so cozy.

Very hard to fault, could just do with a couple of teatowels and some kitchen roll but everything was great really

Lovely house in the forest with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with shower and a toilet downstairs. So spacious, cosy and comfortable. Short drive to Rostrevor town.

Great, clean and spacious house, 7 min drive from Rostrevor. Behind the house is some nice walking route. It was perfect for a group of friends as the kitchen and living area could accommodate a large group comfortably.

Amazing, relaxing, best trip ever!

The property was beautiful, clean, very modern. We felt completely at home the minute we walked in. We were blown away with the warmth throughout the house. The location was perfect & we enjoyed many walks

I cannot fault this property as it catered for all our needs. Only issue was whoever stayed before us didn’t understand how to sort out bin waste. We made sure we recycled all our blue bin materials & we left the black bin out for collection as per instructions.. the brown bin seemed to be full of recycling & food waste

No me encantó, le falta amor.

Me encantaron las camas y el baño, limpio y comodo. El sitio estaba en un lugar espectacular. Nos costó encontrarla, la dirección que figura en Booking no es.

La casa estaba desprolija al llegar, los pisos pintados con tizas, trozos de un cuadro tirados en la puerta, la cocina, el jardin en el fondo y el laundry estaban sucios y desprolijos. La vajilla y utensillos de cocina feos.
