Spacious and good location. Owner communicated well.

Beds were comfortable.

Overall a disappointing property. Had to air upper bedrooms on entering as strong musty smell. We ended up having cold showers downstairs (hot water was on an immersion), we rang and got instructions but we were pushed for time then. Not even a small carton of milk in the fridge for tea or coffee. House is very dated and old fashioned, dark sitting room, unkempt outside area.......lots of owners photos and personal effects (some religious imagery), not really ideal for renting a property. We were out all day until 5pm, then out again from 7pm so just used the house as as a base. Friends stayed in a property with the same number of bedrooms a short distance away and their property was outstanding and cheaper. For €630 for the night, I think water should be hot for entire stay, bath towels should be provided, the house should be aired and a minimum courtesy of a carton of milk, small accessories would be appreciated. It suited us to "lay our heads" but that was as far as it goes.
