Amazing, comfortable, peaceful and we would definitly go back!

The bed was super comfortable we both slept like babies. The land was safe and enclosed so our dogs could run about and we loved that we could take the dogs with us. The breakfast was so delicious and such good variety as we got fresh fruit, yoghurt, Irish fry, home made wheaten bread, jam, tea, coffee and fresh orange juice honestly the best breakfast we have ever had. Geraldine and Albert were both so kind, welcoming and were there if we needed anything at all. They both so kindly offered us a lift into the village which was so thoughtful of them. We would 100% recommend staying here and we would definitely stay again! Thank you both so so much again.

Lovely dog friendly stay in Carlingford.

It was very comfortable and extremely dog friendly. The bedrooms are uniquely decorated. The owners Geraldine and Albert were extremely friendly and always available to answer a request.

Exceptionally well kept property with the most engaging, gracious and lovely hosts. Very well done - we highly recommend and hope to return in the future. This topped our expectations!!

Our teens had a tough time getting on wifi but I didn't want to ask the hosts to help - it was good for the kids to pet the animals at the property and also talk to us : )

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience… room, breakfast, and hospitality

Had a wonderful visit! 3 nights in the “owl” room, traditional Irish breakfast (no need for lunch), and lots of great recommendations for local attractions from our super host, Albert. We toured Carlingford castle, biked the greenway trail, visited several historic sites and enjoyed each dining experience… The Carlingford Arms Pub and Restaurant, Fitzpatrick’s Bar and Restaurant, and McKevitt’s Hotel. Highly recommended….

We had a really relaxing, stress free and enjoyable stay

I loved all the details, the bird themed room that even had bird sheets. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was excellent. Everything was immaculate. The hosts were very warm, welcoming, and good fun. The breakfast was nutritious and delicious. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Warm, welcoming and left us wanting to stay longer!

Genuinely cannot fault the Walker's Nest. Albert and Geraldine were wonderful hosts who could not do enough for us. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of options. Very comfortable bed, great room(the owl room). The shower was amazing and well needed after a weekend in Carlingford. It's a little bit out of town but our hosts were always more than willing to offer a lift in. We will definitely be back.

Family-run cosy traditional B&B, highly recommended.

It's a lovely cosy B&B a little outside Carlingford. This might be a disadvantage for some people but it's got so crazy with hen parties lately that you'll get a decent night's sleep here and it's a short drive. The family are extremely kind - I was caught out by the lack of bus service on Sunday (there was even an issue getting a taxi, be warned) - and they gave me lifts. Really nice people. Good breakfast and a comfortable stay. Thank you so much.

Will definitely be back!

B&B was amazing and peaceful and our dog loved exploring the big garden and meeting the horse! Super pet friendly place. Room was huge loads of space for us and the shower was amazing! Breakfast was great plenty of food and plenty of options. Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, they even dropped us to town on two nights. They couldn't do enough for you! Albert kept us entertained with jokes each morning and had recommendations of where to eat that night! Its only 10-15 mins walk to town but I wouldn't walk at night because there are no lights. You can get a taxi from town and its reasonable. We will definitely be back next time we are in Carlingford and I've already recommended to friends with pets.
